Jimmy Kimmel’s birth chart shows he was meant to guide the human collective
Jimmy Kimmel was born on November 13, 1967. This makes him a strong-willed Scorpio Sun with a fiery Aries Moon. His birth time hasn’t been confirmed anywhere online nor with me directly (get at me, we have friends in common!), so until he and I cross paths, let’s focus on what we do, in fact, know. When it comes to elemental energy, he is heavily based in Earth and Water. This is what allows him to focus on equally synthesizing his emotions and passions into real world results.
When looking at key themes within his birth chart, there are a few that pop up. First and foremost—and this should come to no one as a surprise—but Kimmel was built to speak his mind. He has a powerful urge to assert himself, express his beliefs and command through his communication. We can see this in a few different ways. His Sun, ruling his life force, aligns exactly with Pluto, the planet of power. This gives him a desire for recognition and admiration.
His Sun then links to Mars, the planet of action and energy, which further empowers his self-confidence and decisive nature. He can’t sit still—this is a man who revels in being outspoken and always on the go. His vitality and stamina are equal in strength to his mental powers.
His Moon, ruling his soul and inner emotional life, is also in a sharp angle with Mars, too, which gives him a deep mind and a highly opinionated nature. He has a rebellious streak and at his greatest capacity, he is independent, original and brilliant—but yes, this can make him especially feisty and hot-headed when it gets to his ideas.
His Moon is then united with Saturn, which gives him incredible emotional control the vast majority of the time, as well as significant focus and concentration. This can sometimes make him take a step back away from emotions—his own or others—to detach and analyze them before engaging.
Then, with his Mars also dancing with Pluto, he is infused with a drive for power and has enormous levels of energy at his disposal to command and dedicate himself to doing so.
Yet, the thing that I love the most about all of this is that his Mercury, which ties to his mind and communication skills, sings in perfect harmony with Jupiter, the planet of joy, humor and optimism. This is actually one of the most significant astrological aspects in his entire chart because it is one of the most exact alignments within him. This makes him clever, good-natured and have exceptional intelligence. His ability to connect with others expands exponentially and more often than not he has a knack for making people feel good about themselves—whether they’re a guest, his friend, an audience member or someone watching from the comfort of their home.
Beyond all of this, though, something else stood out to me upon reviewing his birth chart, and it may not be something that most people who watch him immediately recognize. Jimmy Kimmel is actually a teacher and revolutionary who is meant to guide the human collective and society as a whole. I’m not making this up. They often say that humor and comedy are the best ways to teach people—at least that’s what I was taught when I was an actor in school when I was younger. And that’s what Kimmel is doing! Here’s why.
First, his Sun is exactly united with Neptune, the planet of spirituality and imagination. This brings him an ethereal quality that feeds him as a visionary and artist. He’s especially sensitive underneath it all and wishes to entertain and is willing to sacrifice for the greater good—even if that’s at the expense of ruffling some people’s feathers.
His Neptune also aligns exactly with Pluto, allowing him to almost psychically be involved in the energies of mankind at any given moment. He seeks to be of service to the world while also having fun doing it. Then to top it off, he has his Uranus, the planet of rebellion and the future, exactly united with Pluto, too. This further amplifies his intuition and aids him in being unconventional and compassionate for the betterment of mankind and the transformation of society as a whole. He, in a sense, seeks to be a helper in the creation of a new world based on humanitarian ideals and brotherhood.
