William Shakespeare Bio

William Shakespeare (/ˈʃeɪkspɪər/; April 26, 1564 (baptized) - April 23, 1616) was an English poet, playwright and actor, widely regarded as the world's greatest English-language writer and playwright. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon". His work, including his collaborations, comprises some 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems and a few other verses, the authorship of which is sometimes uncertain. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright. Shakespeare was born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Between 1585 and 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer and co-owner of a theater company called Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as King's Men. He seems to have retired to Stratford around 1613, at the age of 49, where he died three years later. Few records of Shakespeare's private life have survived, which has stimulated much speculation on topics such as his physical appearance, sexuality and religious beliefs, and whether the works attributed to him were written by others. Shakespeare produced most of his known works between 1589 and 1613. His early plays were mainly comedies and histories, and are considered some of the best work ever produced in these genres. He then wrote mainly tragedies until around 1608, including Hamlet, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth, considered some of the finest works in the English language. In his later phase, he wrote tragicomedies, also known as romances, and collaborated with other playwrights. During his lifetime, many of his plays were published in editions of varying quality and accuracy. In 1623, however, John Heminges and Henry Condell, two of Shakespeare's friends and fellow actors, published a more definitive text known as the First Folio, a posthumous edition of his dramatic works that included all but two of Shakespeare's plays. It was preceded by a poem by Ben Jonson, in which Shakespeare is hailed, presciently, as being "not of one age, but for all time". In the 20th and 21st centuries, his works have been repeatedly adapted and rediscovered by new research and performance movements. His plays remain very popular, and are constantly studied, performed and reinterpreted in various cultural and political contexts around the world. In 2016, to mark the 400th anniversary of the playwright's death, celebrations will be held in the UK and around the world to pay tribute to Shakespeare and his work.

Moon in Cancer

Sun in Taurus

Asc in Cancer

Sun in Taurus

Because the Sun has returned to Taurus, you are about to experience a time of power and renewal that is heading your way. Since the energy of Taurus, which is known for being stable and rooted, is being brought out and enhanced at this time, it is time for you to shine. Taurus is a sign that is regarded to be grounded and solid. A better sense of connection to your core ideas, your own self, and the things that offer you serenity and stability is something that you could experience as a result of this. You will be urged to strengthen your innate patience and endurance, as well as your capacity to find joy in the seemingly small things of life that are still significant, as a result of this transit. In most cases, at this time, your attention shifts to the things that are actually essential to you, such as the accomplishment of your own personal goals, the satisfaction of your comfort, and the guarantee of your safety. There is no better time than the present to strengthen the foundations of your personal life, your professional life, or your financial circumstances. During the time that the Sun is in your sign, it acts as a reminder that adhering to a plan is crucial to attaining success over the long term, and it motivates you to keep working toward reaching the goals that you have set for yourself. If you design things in a manner that is both planned and cautious, there is a greater likelihood that you will achieve success. Because of this, rather of only beginning change, you will be able to turn your goals into something that is substantial and will last for a long time.

Moon in Cancer

From the point of view of a Taurus with the Moon in Cancer, you are the perfect example of emotional depth and constancy. If you are a Taurus, the most important things to you are being able to create a safe space, being patient, and being comfortable. Your inner world, which is ruled by a Cancer Moon, is very emotional and sensitive. It needs to feel safe and like it belongs in order to work properly. This is because your Cancer Moon is in charge of your inner world. Not only does this group sound great together, but they also have a good sense of harmony. Because your emotional nature and your core identity are in sync, you are a very calm person. You can reach your big goal of decorating your home in a way that is safe, comfortable, and attractive because you are patient and determined. Because you are a natural nurturer, you can give everyone in your life consistent and reliable emotional support. This is because you can pay attention to what other people need. You will fight for the people who are important to you with all your strength, and you care about them a lot. That said, this very stable situation does have some downsides that need to be thought about. You probably don't like change very much, and you'd rather stick to your routine than try new things that might be scary. If some people don't take care, this could sometimes lead to a state of stagnation for them. You might also find it hard to say what you want clearly, which could lead to passive-aggressive behavior. This situation has happened because your need for control and your desire for harmony are at odds with each other.

Mercury in Aries

Because the grounded and tranquil Taurus sun finds its wits in the fiery and impetuous world of Mercury in Aries, you are a very practical person with a startlingly direct communication style. This is because you are a Taurus. Your inner world functions swiftly, decisively, and occasionally bluntly, in contrast to the composed, methodical, stability-focused exterior self you present to the outside world. A strong and lovely synergy is produced as a result of this interaction. Your Taurus sun has a strong desire to live in a comfortable and secure home. Conversely, Mercury in the sign of Aries guides you toward an active world, audacious concepts, and an exploration of the truth. This allows you to express yourself with a more profound and significant purpose and to build a comfortable life for yourself. You could be a forceful presence one minute and a grounded one the next. What truly makes this combination potent is your capacity to bring your heart and mind into harmony. Your practical Taurus has a strong sense of purpose and a clear vision for the future because Aries is the sign that dominates your thoughts. Being a powerful and transforming force, you have the ability to motivate people and use your words to create steady, long-lasting change. You are not merely a constant presence. Your moral compass and perseverance enable you to become a force for justice and truth, thanks to the fire spirit of the Aries.

Venus in Gemini

As the grounded, patient Taurus sun find its heart in the witty, communicative world of Venus in Gemini you are a person whose love can be described as an intellectual journey of a million conversations. Your external experience is all about seeking comfort and stability; your relationships are more intellectual and playful.
That is a dynamic that creates a beautiful and interesting tug. Your Taurus sun is after building a secure life and meeting it with a partner, seeing as how stable foundations are optimal for growing successful relationships. But your Venus in Gemini threads you toward a realm of friend-based love, stimulating conversation and lots of variety. You are able to feel deep into those dark and sensual corners of human love not only, but express the feeling layers in your questioning adaptable manner—in a nonpossessive way.
The true power of this pairing is a loving heart and quick mind. Your Gemini heart lends your Taurus groundedness a delightful restlessness, and you become an advocate for the underdog and a lover who offers unlimited comprehension without smothering emotionally. You’re attracted to relationships that feel fresh and exciting, based on common beliefs and a deep loyalty, and your love grows best in an environment of mutual respect and admiration.

Mars in Cancer

As the grounded and patient Taurus sun links up with the nurturing emotional realm of Mars in Cancer, your energy this week is a gorgeous mix of practical comfort and protective instinct. Your external self craves a secure and comfortable existence while your world of intuition knows that life for you is about emotional security, belonging and family nurturing you to reach your goals.
This is a beautiful tension, an interesting pull. With your Taurus sun, you really want to construct a life that is secure and comfortable. But your Mars in Cancer wants to draw you into a world of emotional security, pragmatic ambition and ceaseless striving after that comfortable, safety-blanket life. Which means you will be able to experience not just the sexual meditation of human bonding, but the way in which you can release your energy in a supremely reliable, protective and devoted manner.…
It’s your intuition, and the power I believe in this partnership is that you will be able do something about that – we will be able to create a quiet drive inside of you. Your Taurus's groundedness has a purpose and foundation in your Cancer drive. You are attracted to the kind of partnerships that feel expansive and aspirational, grounded in shared spiritual ideals and a fierce commitment. Your energy flourishes with respect for each other and a never-ending sense of discovery.

Jupiter in Cancer

The grounded, patient Taurus sun finds its luck and expansion in Jupiter’s gentle, nurturing Cancer; your natural growth here is filtered through an emotional protective lens and confident stability. Your physical self looks for ease and stability everywhere, while your inner realm of motivation is fueled by a profound longing for an emotional security and comfort as you lovingly expand.
This tension is a beautiful, interesting pull. Your Taurus sun loves the idea of creating a safe, comfortable life. But your Jupiter in Cancer tugs you toward a world of bottomless desire, ambitious aspirations and an endless search for true truth. Which means that you not only get to experience the sensual depths of human connection, but also express your energy in a way that is powerfully stable, loyal, and dedicated.
The strength of this combination is helping you to follow your gut and make things happen with it’s gentle force. And your Cancer drive and energy provide the already-grounded Taurus with a deep-rooted sense of mission… not to mention passion. You’re hooked on partnerships that feel like they are (or will be!) expansive and optimistic, built on shared spiritual ideals and a fierce loyalty. You both love a vibe of shared respect and curiosity.

Saturn in Cancer

When your could be stubborn and hypersensitive Taurus sun picks up its greatest life lesson from the emotional, nurturing circuit of Saturn in Cancer, it is accustomed to needing something steady to count upon through the trials and tribulations of early childhood. In all that you do, your physical self looks for comfort and security, whilst something stronger inside of you is motivated by a strong emotional stability and care-giving attitude to life with a bold, brave style in which you'll develop many things in it.
This set-up makes for a beautiful and provocative tug. Your Taurus sun desires to construct a safe life and locate a source of ease, respite and safety. But your Saturn in Cancer drags you toward a world of real goals and practical action, constantly trawling through the heart of everything. This will let you not only experience the depths of sensual human connection, but also put your energy into a mode that is powerfully consistent, reliable and loyal.
The secret of this combo is that you have a killer instinct to get things done and make it happen with a silent drive. You drive, Cancer, gives your Taurus's deep sense of purpose and ground a touch of passion. You’re attracted to relationships that are vast and full of promise, based on common spiritual principles and a deep commitment. Your sparks fly in a world of mutual flattery and perpetual surprise.

Uranus in Sagittarius

A person with their Taurus sun and a Uranus in Sagittarius is like a seasoned farmer who has to be a revolutionary visionary. Your deepest instincts tell you to strive for a solid, dependable life of comfort and material security. However, the great lesson of your life, handed to you by Uranus, insists on creating balance, structure, and profound transformation in your relationships. This placement generates a fascinating attention-grabber: you’re torn between your grounded, practical being and a need for objective investigation. Your sun sign, the Taurus, is someone who wants to be the stable rock, a loyal, unconditionally loving partner who seeks solace in routine. Yet, here comes the Uranus in Sagittarius to teach you that security doesn’t exclude the conscious effort battle to better understand the secrets and truths of your relationships. It drives you to fight against the injustice, to set clear barriers and rules that will allow you to give without feeling like you’re losing parts of yourself. How are you going to balance building your strong tower of comfort with the need to be an active and demanding advocate of what’s just? The true power of this sign lies in turning the raw, unfiltered practicality into a structure, visible force for good. You might be a silent hero, a quiet power that guides whole social groups and even large communities. Your ultimate job is to use your never-ending persistence to build a safe space founded in respect and mutual trust. You’re more capable than anyone to fulfill this role, as your emotional perception is unique, and you hold the ground of your beliefs like no one in your social circles.

Neptune in Gemini

Someone with such a Taurus sun and that Neptune in Gemini is an emanating communicator who has to be trained by the act of channeling a new form of collective reality. You identify yourself by your curiosity and desire to communicate—it's inherently open, embracing new possibilities and connecting things that had not previously been connected. As if Nepture in it's own sign isn't enough to bring back all your amazing intuition and words about the collective unconscious. This potent blend means that your life purpose revolves around translating invisible, complicated truths into plain language.
This shapes you into more than just a thinker, but a spiritual wordsmith. Your mission is to translate your thoughts into something that pierces through so that humans relate on a deeper, more intuitive level. So the problem is really to reconcile your abstract nature with your natural, deep sense of awareness for what others are thinking or feeling. Your lesson in life is to learn to trust that knowing without getting scattered or overwhelmed. You have the power to speak quick wit and wisdom that clarifies chaos and connects deeper than skin.

Sun in Taurus 12°43

The sign of Taurus confers on those born under it a calm and patient nature, as well as a sense of appreciation for the beautiful and pleasant things in life. People born under the sign of Taurus are often quite introverted and like to keep their distance, even from their best friends. However, the reason for this is not their arrogance, but their inability to talk about their problems with anyone.

People born under the sign of Taurus are very conservative, which is reflected in their behavior, dress and lifestyle. We can't say they're opposed to everything modern, but they insist on quality materials, perfect design and, above all, values. This also includes the fact that these people need a sense of security to be happy, and will use anything to help them feel that way. They know the value of things and possessions and go to great lengths to obtain them, because they also want their children to enjoy this security. If these people seem selfish, it's wrong, because they are very modest themselves, but they are driven by the idea that their family should get the best. Emotional and family support is also important to them, and they take good care of their children and are attentive to older family members without feeling that they are making sacrifices.

At work, these people are very precise and reliable. Because they know what they have to do, they don't let laziness, their other characteristic, get the better of them. People born under the sign of Taurus don't insist on doing sports. They may go for a hike, at the end of which is a rare artistic monument, accessible in no other way. Only family, artistic experiences and good food are worth the effort.

As people born under the sign of Taurus are born under the dominion of Venus, they have a highly developed sense of art, and many people born under this sign are active artists, from singers to architects.

These people care about their reputations, and even if they don't like their work, they will fulfill their obligations satisfactorily. They can concentrate on their work so they don't needlessly waste time on something they consider necessary for themselves: reading a book, seeing an exhibition or taking a walk in the park. But they're not just dreamers. They know the value of money and how to use it in a practical and prudent way.

Moon in Libra 7°59'

The person whose Moon is in Libra seeks security in a relationship, needs to make someone happy and wants to have a rich social life. Later, however, they need to find themselves, and the things that satisfy them must prevail. They also have a great need for balance and harmony. They want to keep things "pleasant" rather than venture into fundamental issues so as not to disturb the peace. Relationships can then be superficial or volatile. You must learn to share your good and bad feelings with your partner. Don't be afraid to be who you really are, despite what is expected of you. Use your innate talent for making things pleasant. You can influence the atmosphere around you with your pleasant voice, musical abilities and comforting presence.

Ascendant in Cancer 18°50'

Ascendant (rising sign)

With an Ascendant in Cancer, you need to develop and refine your emotional life. Some people are so emotionally vulnerable that they form a shell around themselves to protect their soul. The challenge is to find a way to use your sensitivity so as not to overload it. Cancer Ascendants can also be very surprised by the amount of emotion that lurks beneath their cool, calm exterior. You should learn to live in tune with your internal and organic rhythms and currents. Governed by feelings, Cancer Ascendants don't let themselves be convinced by logical explanations and arguments.

Capricorn Descendant - Partners and compatibility
If you want to stay together as a couple, you need to learn to distinguish between emotions that are healthy and reasonable, and those that need to be controlled or toned down. Descending Capricorns look for safe, strong and stable partners. In time, you should find these qualities in yourself and not expect to get them from others.

If Cancer is on the Ascendant, your partner may be older and more mature, but he or she may seem cold or calculating. You need to step out of your childlike role and learn to be objective, serious and straightforward, so you can feel more confident and self-assured. You need to accept certain restrictions in a relationship and have a solid, reliable attitude towards your partner.
