Bob Wills Bio

James Robert "Bob" Wills (March 6, 1905 – May 13, 1975) was an American Western swing musician, songwriter, and bandleader. Considered by music authorities as the co-founder of Western swing, he was universally known as the King of Western Swing (after the death of Spade Cooley who used the moniker "King Of Western Swing" from 1942 to 1969). Wills formed several bands and played radio stations around the South and West until he formed the Texas Playboys in 1934 with Wills on fiddle, Tommy Duncan on piano and vocals, rhythm guitarist June Whalin, tenor banjoist Johnnie Lee Wills, and Kermit Whalin, who played steel guitar and bass. The band played regularly on a Tulsa, Oklahoma radio station and added Leon McAuliffe on steel guitar, pianist Al Stricklin, drummer Smokey Dacus, and a horn section that expanded the band's sound. Wills favored jazz-like arrangements and the band found national popularity into the 1940s with such hits as "Steel Guitar Rag", "New San Antonio Rose", "Smoke On The Water", "Stars And Stripes On Iwo Jima", and "New Spanish Two Step". Wills and the Texas Playboys recorded with several publishers and companies, including Vocalion, Okeh, Columbia, and MGM, frequently moving. In 1950, he had two Top 10 hits, "Ida Red Likes The Boogie" and "Faded Love", which were his last hits for a decade. Throughout the 1950s, he struggled with poor health and tenuous finances, but continued to perform frequently despite the decline in popularity of his earlier music as rock and roll took over. Wills had a heart attack in 1962 and a second one the next year, which forced him to disband the Playboys although Wills continued to perform solo. The Country Music Hall of Fame inducted Wills in 1968 and the Texas State Legislature honored him for his contribution to American music. In 1972, Wills accepted a citation from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers in Nashville. He was recording an album with fan Merle Haggard in 1973 when a stroke left him comatose until his death in 1975. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Wills and the Texas Playboys in 1999.

Moon in Pisces

Sun in Pisces

Asc in Scorpio

Sun in Pisces

When the Sun is in Pisces, their emotional intelligence and intuition will be enhanced. This allows them to live a more real and fulfilled life. In this region, they will feel more linked to their inner world, which will allow them to better understand others, identify hidden desires, and practically perceive their surroundings. Their imagination has a significant amount of power, and it frequently acts as a source of inspiration for them to engage in creative, spiritual, or unselfish activities that benefit others and the larger world. It is critical to master the knowledge and skills required to maintain their energy while keeping  heart open in the event that their boundaries are violated and their emotions take over. This is due to the likelihood of difficulties. Because they usually evaluate your emotions as well as the multiple possibilities available to them before acting, may take longer than usual to make a decision. On the other hand, this rigorous method often results in more insightful and innovative judgments than prior ones. When the Sun is in the sign of Pisces, Pisceans are encouraged to harness their inherent sensitivity, combine their creativity and intuition, and create a life that honors their inner selves while still fostering crucial contacts with the outside world. Pisceans are also advised to focus on their connections with others.

Moon in Pisces

While the Moon is in the sign of Pisces, those whose solar sign is Pisces are considered to have a more acute sense of intuition and emotion than those whose sign is Cancer. This can be explained by the fact that the Moon is located in the Pisces constellation. Their inner world is symbolized by the moon, while the sun is a reflection of their fundamental self. A distinction can be made between the sun and the moon. Their capacity for wisdom and compassion is substantially enhanced as a result of this celestial conjunction, which is of tremendous advantage to them. In contrast to the majority of others, they have the ability to feel completely "at home" in their own skin, and the feelings that they experience indicate who they are.
Because of this combination, which brings out the Pisces characteristics that are already present in them, they discover that they are a wonderful artist of the spirit and the ultimate dreamer. They will be able to handle the ups and downs that life throws at them if you pay attention to and act upon their intuition, which is more than simply a gut hunch. The capacity to empathize with other people comes readily to them, and you frequently take on the feelings of other people as if they were own experience. There are certain challenges that come along with this transition, despite the fact that they evolve into a person who is inherently kind and healing.

Mercury in Pisces

They are extremely sensitive and have an absolutely boundless imagination, particularly when the dreamy Pisces sun influences your thoughts in the emotional sphere of Mercury in Pisces. They're also extremely sensitive. A person with a strong belief in a higher truth is incredibly empathetic. As one of the zodiac signs, they are considered to be among the most compassionate and emotionally resilient individuals due to having two water signs in their chart. Their ability to absorb and retain emotions can be both a strength and a weakness. In addition to their ability to think, they also need to possess emotional resilience. Their desire to regulate their emotions and their profound emotional depth might be a perfect fit. They are fiercely loyal and protective of the people they love, and they will go to great lengths to ensure their safety. However, there are numerous issues associated with this outstanding depth. Because they tend to keep their feelings to themself in order to protect your delicate inner world, being a double Pisces may make extremely sensitive and more likely to keep things to themself. Because it can be difficult to control their emotions, they might feel emotionally overburdened. To protect their strong inner landscape, they may attempt to emotionally distance themself from it. The world may seem too much for them to bear. Realizing that their emotions have the power to transform them is the first step toward achieving inner peace.

Venus in Taurus

When the compassionate, dreamy Pisces sun merges with the grounded, sensual energy of Venus in Taurus, you are someone whose love is a grounding and nurturing source that career romantics only read about. You crave a rich, emotional bond to those around you and yet your realm of personal relationships is characterized by physical ease and common sense.
This is the dynamic that produces a lovely and compelling tension. Your Pisces sun longs to be a soulmate, to become one with a person entirely on a spiritual level. But your Venus in Taurus draws you to one that’s draped in physical delights, solid structures and a longing to create a life of ease and safety. It will mean you can feel the depths of human connection and be able to show your love in such a comforting, loyal way that is hard wired into their system.
The true power of this pairing is a loving heart with empathetic soul. Your Taurus heart grounds your Pisces’s limitless guilt to allow you to be the nurturing creature that brings dreams into reality. You’re attracted to relationships that are safe, comfortable and based on a shared love of the senses, as your affections blossom in an environment bound by mutual respect and admiration.

Mars in Scorpio

As the tender and introspective Pisces sun squares off with the passionate, transformative world of Mars in Scorpio, your motivations are a heady mix of etheric compassion and emotional depth. Your surface feelings are for deep emotional and spiritual rapport with others to the extent that you can pick up their feelings. But the truth behind your weight loss motivation is a strong personal attachment to intimacy, courage and an intense visceral never-say-die attitude to succeed. It’s this, a dynamic that makes for an exquisite and captivating pull. Your Pisces sun wants to completely merge with another person, probably through the loss of boundaries and by soaking up feelings. But your Mars in Scorpio tugs you toward a den of the definitively perfect, concrete goals and never-ending striving to make things better. And that lets you not just feel the spiritual depths of human connection, but express your energy in a manner which is amazingly stable, protective and devoted.
The real power of this combo is the freedom to trust your instincts and act on them with a quiet confidence. Your Scorpio drive adds purpose and grounding to all that boundless Pisces empathy. You’ll be drawn to partnerships that feel expansive and hopeful, grounded in common spiritual ideals and a fierce devotion. Your energy comes to life in a place where mutual respect and never-ending desire to learn are the norm.

Jupiter in Aries

As the compassionate and dreamy Pisces sun lucks into an expansive experience in Jupiter’s bold realm of fire in Aries, your good fortune and growth get a mix all their own: Spiritual empathy marries courageous assertion. Your surface self desires an intense emotional and spiritual bond with others, so much so that you can take on their feelings. But within your motivational world the urge is for direct action, to take charge and a large dose of assertiveness when it comes to expansion.
That’s a tension that creates a lovely and tantalizing tug. But then there is your Pisces sun, which wants to dissolve completely into another person, often by blurring limits and taking on that person’s feelings. But your Jupiter in Aries leads you toward a planet of ultimate equilibrium, clear and practical aims, the search for perfection and precise development. You actually get to experience not just the spiritual part of connecting with humanity, but you also get to exchange your energy in such a way that is really dependable and supportive and faithful.
The real power in this pairing is unleashing your intuition to an amazing degree and making things happen almost via telekinesis. Your Aries go-get-’em energy provides your Pisces’s world-without-end compassion with a karmic mission and safe place to land. You’re attracted to partnerships that feel expansive and hopeful, based on joint spiritual ideals and a ferocious loyalty. With you, it’s the chemistry of respect and novelty.

Saturn in Aquarius

With your deeply compassionate, dreamy Pisces Sun and its great life lesson in the intellectual, humanitarian realm of Saturn in Aquarius, your natural empathy was given a sense of broad-based, almost universal purpose-and a counterbalancing need to “fix the world.” On the outside, you seek deep emotional and spiritual connection-there is a tendency to “take in” or absorb the feelings of others. On the inside, where your sense of motivational drive lies, there is a powerful need for intellectual order, social justice, and a cool, detached approach to problem-solving. The resulting tension at times feels like a beautiful and interesting kind of tug-of-war. Your Pisces Sun wants to merge entirely with another human, lacking any boundaries and “taking in” their own feelings, but your Saturn in Aquarius yearns for a world of real, discernable perfection where aims are established and aims are met in the most direct way possible. The net impact is truly powerful. Not only can you feel the unmeasurable spiritual depth of human connection, but you can also convey your energies in a way that is incredibly responsible and secure and devoted to the person or persons that you are working with. You have a great power in your being to trust your gut and make things happen, gently, with assurance. For a strong sense of grounded purpose, your Pisces empathy is directed by the driving lessons of Aquarius. You are attracted to relationships that make you feel expanded, hopeful, and is established in shared spiritual hopes.

Uranus in Capricorn

If you are someone with a Pisces sun and Uranus in Capricorn, you’re walking the life path of the compassionate visionary who has to learn to be the master builder. Your inner urges are to break down barriers and become one with others, in which you can feel their joys and pains as your own. But your life’s big lesson, handed off by Uranus, is to establish equilibrium and structure in your partnerships. This union sets up a gripping push-pull between your boundless empathy and an urgent devotion to objective inquiry.
Your Pisces sun longs to be a kind dreamer, a soft-hearted soul who shies away from conflict and derives peace from surrender. But your Uranus in Capricorn is here to show you that real peace only comes when you consciously face the secrets within your relationships. It makes you stand for what is right, even if it feels uncomfortable — and enables you to draw clear boundaries in order to give back without losing yourself. The difficult work is learning how to be a sensitive empath and a tough advocate for justice.
What's the important thing to know for you? And how to bring Mercury square Neptune into a powerful position of compassion and activism The big opportunity here is taking your compassionate, instinctive spirituality and grounding it as a clear force for good. You can be a quiet hero, a quiet leader who makes for peace in their social and extended communities. It’s your job to empathize and create relationship networks and communities where respect and trust run deep. You find special ways of being able to navigate emotional complexities, while not compromising your absolutely firm line in the sand about what you know is right.

Neptune in Cancer

Someone with a Pisces sun and Neptune in Cancer is a kind of empathic healer who learns to create a safe emotional home for others. You are who you are in your unguarded moments when words and desires dissolve into one. This is instantly supported by Neptune, which gives you a deep intuition that cares and maintains. This potent combination sets your life mission to be a beacon of home and belonging no matter where you go.
This position signifies that you are not just a lunatic but a spiritual architect. Your aim is to turn your profound artistic and personal feeling into something that offers others comfort and safety. The difficulty is finding the balance between being a sensitive individual versus needing to protect and take care of yourself. The lesson to be learned in your life is how can you trust this intuitive vision without being swayed by the strong emotional contacts that are overwhelming of even taking up others loads. You power is turning your rebellious kindness into a beautiful statement that is not afraid of defying norm. Your path to a fulfilled life is built on learning to be a fearless nurturer, not a passive one. Your legacy shall never be your personal dreams, but the real, inspirational safe spaces you enabled. For when you dare trust your vision, not only shall your genius glitter – it shall be a lighthouse to all who would otherwise live unfulfilled, unsculptured paths.

Pluto in Gemini

Pluto in Gemini is traversing your 4th house, Pisces which is home & family, roots and psychology. For you, this is a soul-deep renovation of what “home” actually looks like. Pisces is usually all about dreams and visions rather than earthly structures, but with Pluto here: you will never be able to build this future until you transform the ground underneath your feet.
Anticipate significant changes to family dynamics. Old stories, family patterns and hidden truths can come to light. Patriarchal power plays at home might press your limits or stir a desire to break with certain traditions in order to form your own. For some Pisces, it could look like a relocation, a real estate purchase or some kind of reconfiguration within your sense of stability.
But, at the heart of certain essential aspects of this transit is less about physical houses and more than you might imagine about emotional ones. A Pluto in Gemini placement makes you wonder: Where do I fit? Who makes me feel safe? What is the base that I need to succeed? It can be uncomfortable at times, as if you are getting ripped up from your roots. But what is actually taking place is a regeneration.
By the time Pluto completes in Gemini, you’ll have reinvented family and home on your own terms. Whether you’re forming a chosen family, repairing years of generational damage, or breaking free to build a haven that fully resonates with your soul… You will walk away rooted in strength that’s unwavering and 100% yours.
