Cliff Alexander Bio

(Not to be confused with Clifford Alexander Jr..) Cliff Alexander (born November 16, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He completed his freshman season at the University of Kansas for the Jayhawks' on their 2014–15 team. He declared himself eligible for the 2015 NBA draft but was undrafted. He played in high school at Curie High School in Chicago where he won Naismith and Mr. Basketball USA recognition as national player of the year. He did not play organized basketball until eighth grade, but by late in his freshman season he became a notable contributor to his high school's varsity team. He was ranked among the top 20 prospects in the national class of 2014 prior to his sophomore season. As a junior, he moved into the top 10 of the national class and was recognized as an All-American. By the beginning of his senior season, he was considered to be a top 5 player by most talent evaluators and his stock was still on the rise. Following a Martin Luther King Day performance during his senior year against the number one team in the country, many experts considered him to be the best player in the national class of 2014. In 2013, he represented USA Basketball in international play. Several talent scouts praised his powerful game. As a high schooler, Alexander felt he was most often compared to Amar'e Stoudemire. He was also contrasted with crosstown rival Jahlil Okafor, especially as a senior when they vied for national attention. Alexander was heavily recruited by many top Division I basketball programs and his recruitment was widely followed. He played in the 2014 McDonald's All-American Boys Game, 2014 Jordan Brand Classic and the 2014 Nike Hoop Summit, earning co-MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic. Alexander led Curie to the 2014 Chicago Public High School League city championship in a quadruple-overtime game against Okafor that was the lead story on SportsCenter. The championship was later forfeited. As a freshman with Kansas, he did not play in the latter part of the season after the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) launched an investigation into his eligibility.

Sun in Scorpio

Asc in Virgo

Sun in Scorpio

The Sun's entry into the sign of Scorpio will mark the beginning of their journey toward greater self-awareness, transformation, and personal power. They will gain more personal strength as a result of this journey. because the Sun is presently in the sign of Scorpio. This forces them to explore subconscious, face fears, and give in to their deepest desires. This happens because they are inherently more intense as a result of their illness. Being sincere and honest about how you perceive your emotions is crucial during this time of intense introspection and personal development. You should consider getting rid of something if they discover that it is no longer meeting their needs. Their progress may be hampered by a variety of things, such as toxic attitudes, destructive habits, and confining relationships. The Scorpion's spirit motivates them to conduct more thorough research and to seek the truth more resolutely in all facets of life. They can overcome obstacles with the perseverance and strategic understanding required for success if they are prepared to invest the time and effort necessary to cultivate their interest, focus, and dedication to the topic at hand. Even though it might be challenging at times, it is simply amazing to accept the intensity of the profound healing and transformation process. As they continue this cycle, they will develop emotional intelligence, intuition, and ability to make better decisions that reflect their best self. This exercise will also help become more emotionally intelligent.

Moon in Virgo

An unusual combination of earthy analysis and watery energy, a Scorpio with the Moon in Virgo is a fascinating interpretation. They are a Scorpio, and the primary aspects that make up their personality are a strong need for control, intense passion, and high emotional power. On the other hand, their emotional inner world, which is dominated by the Moon and Virgo, is concerned with quantifying, categorizing, and making meaning of those feelings. There is a possibility that this combination will result in a fascinating internal dynamic. In contrast to their Scorpio nature, which wants to keep their feelings buried and private, their Virgo Moon is responsible for organizing and comprehending their feelings. Because of this, there is a potential for a significant conflict to arise between the urge to think and the want to just feel. Despite the fact that they may give the impression of being reserved and quiet on the surface, they actually have a restless mind that is always attempting to make sense of the intricate emotional environment they are in. With that being said, this combination also possesses a great deal of power. The Virgo Moon provides them with a much-needed conceptual and practical framework, which is quite beneficial for their strong Scorpio personality. They may discover a practical method to help other people by utilizing their great intuition, and they can utilize their knowledge to grasp the complexities of their own feelings. Because of this unique mix of practicality and empathy, they have the potential to become an outstanding writer, psychologist, or investigator who is able to investigate the interior workings of human nature.

Mercury in Scorpio

With the Scorpio sun your mind is deep, emotional self-improvement may have little to no bounds. The whole of you is a dark and solid pool of confidence, and you have an unmovable belief in your vision.
That double-water placement makes you one of the zodiac’s most fiercely focused and action-oriented individuals. You are not just a thinker; you feel and act on your thoughts with fierce tenacity, for better or worse.
But such tremendous power also has its challenges. It can also make you intensely dramatic, and on guard — because sometimes you hold your emotions close to the chest (in an effort to avoid having them crushed) around that sensitive inner core world. You might feel to struggle with emotional patience, the feelings can run so deep that are hard to handle. The world can be a lot, and you may find yourself building a barrier against burnout to safeguard your potent inner landscape.
The road to contentment exists in reframing the role of your emotions. It’s by finding healthy ways to express the intensity you feel — be it through art, a pursuit or a deep, trusting relationship with another — that help you learn how to navigate the depths without being submerged in them. Your mental health relies on you releasing your strong feelings outward, so that you can employ your fantastic intelligence to heal and connect with others in a way few ever can.

Venus in Sagittarius

With the Scorpio sun spotlighting profound transformations and deep exploration while it rides out its solar cycle in a direct opposition to free-spirited, truth-seeking Venus in Sagittarius, this passionate energy is about as rich and expansive as it gets. Your external relationship nature is propelled by very deep needs for intimacy and fiery passion, but your internal relationshipscape is driven by a strong urge to expand intellectually and adventure on the grandest of scales.
It makes for a wonderful, fascinating tension. Your Scorpio sun craves to unearth the emotional heart of anything and connect with a partner on a meaningful level. But your Venus in Sagittarius tugs you towards a world filled with shared adventures, philosophical exploration and an ongoing search for personal freedom. This way you get the emotional depth of human relationships while still being able to show your love in a very optimistic, liberal and fun loving way.
The magic of this pairing happens when you love with all your untamed heart and roam the open journey together. Your Sagittarius heart provides your Scorpio with great depth of purpose and a philosophical base. You gravitate toward relationships that feel wide and optimistic, full of shared passion for adventure and a deep commitment. Your love does best in an environment of respect and sheer curiosity.

Mars in Sagittarius

With the intense, transformational Scorpio sun tapping into the free-spirited, expansive energy of Mars in Sagittarius, your passions are a source of deep and wide-ranging emotional growth. You are motivated by a deep longing for intimacy and intense connection, but in your inner world of motivation you are driven by an ardent desire for truth, freedom and  grandiose adventure in the pursuit of what you want.
This is a gorgeous and interesting tug of war. Your Scorpio sun wants to penetrate the emotional center of any scenario and join with a partner at a deep level. But, your Mars in Sagittarius takes you to a place of deep desire, change-making achievement and limitless pursuit of getting to the heart of it. This means you are not only able to feel the very deapths of human commitment but also express your energy in a manner that is exeedingly sturdy, protecting and loyal.
The real strength of this pair is being able to trust yourself enough to get out there and make it happen in that quietly determined way. Your Sagittarius Tenacity adds a sense of direction, a point to all of that Scorpio intensity. You are attracted to creative relationships that feel larger than life, steeped in shared spiritual ideals and focused devotion. Your energy flourishes in mutual regard and purposeful exploration.

Jupiter in Sagittarius

Yep, when the intense, transformative Scorpio sun meets lucky, expansive Jupiter in free-spirited Sagittarius, your passions now feel like a galactic expanse of deep emotional meaning and wild adventure. Your outer facade is propelled by the deepest longing for intimacy and blazing connection, while inside your motivation speaks to a deep lust for truth and freedom plus an expansive, wildly adventurous way to grow.
This creates a lovely and intriguing pull. Your Scorpio sun aims to penetrate the emotional heart of any situation and merge with a partner on depths that are fundamental. But your Jupiter in Sagittarius draws you into a world of deep passion, ambitious dreams and an unending search for the depths of everything. This means you can know the deepest depths of human connection; and express your energy being powerfully reliable, protective, loyal and committed.
The real strength of such a combination, however, is the possibility to act on your inspiration and force things without showing resistance. Your Scorpio’s depth feels deeply purposeful with your Sagittarius pursuit anchoring it. You are drawn to relationships that feel expansive and optimistic, based on shared spiritual values and a passionate commitment. If nothing else, you work best in an environment of little ego and continued exploration.

Saturn in Pisces

And so it is when your innately intense and trans-formative Scorpio sun finds its great life lesson in the spiritual, empathic Saturn-in-Pisces, your urge to share intimate space with one another comes drenched in universal purpose and an underlying need to mend the world. You are outwardly expressive of an intense longing to merge in union, but you have an inner motivative world of a quest for spiritual principle, universal compassion and deep feeling toward solutions.
This is a wonderful tug, and one born of something beautiful and interesting. Your Scorpio sun is aching to penetrate the emotional heart of any matter and connect with a partner on an intense level. But your Saturn in Pisces won’t let you stray too far into an ideal world and towards achievable goals, the practical quest to penetrate to the marrow of it all. That you can feel not just the possibility of emotional intensity with a fellow human being, but express your energy in an incredibly loyal, protective and committed way.
There’s something very special and powerful about the combination of the two, allowing you to follow your gut feeling as well as influence life itself through a calm determination. And your Piscean drive gives Scorpio’s endless depth both grounding and purpose. You are attracted to unions that feel expansive and hopeful, grounded in shared spiritual values and fierce loyalty. You are at your best when it’s a field of mutual respect, and there is discovery.

Uranus in Capricorn

A Scorpio sun with a Uranus in Capricorn is the spy who has to grow into a revolutionary leader. Your most profound instincts are to explore and change, to merge with others on the level of deep feelings. But the overarching, great lesson of your life, courtesy of Uranus, is to bring balance and structure into those relationships and transform them utterly. It’s this combination that has a powerful push-and-pull between an intense and private nature on one hand, with an equally profound need for objective investigation.
Your Scorpio sun is looking to cut right to the emotional heart of any matter, seeking its truth in the depths and unsaid connections. But your Uranus in Capricorn is here to school you on the fact that if the illusion of security isn’t something you must craft yourself, then it’s probably bullshit, and real security means making a conscious challenge to confrontation fear in the love game. It makes you have to advocate for the parts that are not, and establish those boundaries of clarity through which one can give without losing oneself. The question is how to be an emotionally strong force in a stolid case for justice.
The potential of this placement is your ability to focus your raw power into something tangible, and out in the open for the better. And you’re uniquely positioned to negotiate the complex emotional terrain of the effort, all while drawing a hard line in the sand for what you know is right.
Your way to a good life is by learning how to have an equal partnership. Your legacy will be the proof that you can turn compassion in its purest form and dedication to a sense of justice into an indomitable rule — just as true strength is not for indulgence but balance, thanks to these wonderfully natural ties.

Neptune in Capricorn

With your Sun in Scorpio, you are intense, emotional and possess an inherent motivation for change. Scorpios are intuitive, passionate and have an inclination toward the  truth. This deep energy gets structure, discipline and practical focus when Neptune is in Capricorn. Neptune in Capricorn wants to turn introspection and vision into material outputs harmonizing intuition and emotion with strategic movement.
What that combination leads to is a kind of person who has an emotional intensity, combined with ambition and cold-blooded planning. Scorpio is all about transmutation and the study of hidden dynamics, but Neptune in Capricorn encourages them to pursue what they want with discipline, hard work and practical wisdom. They are people who might be attracted to the field of psychology, research, leadership work – any form of creative innovation that combines vision with methodical effort.
At a more profound level Scorpio Sun with Neptune in Capricorn can find its way through life by balancing the emotional power of intensity against strategy, and learning ways to direct their intensity toward achievement. They are capable of changing themselves as well as the world around them through concentration and vision. When aligned, these will make a very perceptual, disciplined and transformative personality — one who can mix emotional insight with determination and strategic action to get real change that lasts.

Pluto in Sagittarius

Pluto in Sagittarius falls into your 2nd house, Scorpio — the auditorium of money, things, values and self-esteem. This position will transform the way you deal with money and what makes you feel secure.
There may be some heightened feeling about financial matters, or a sense of destiny. You might have sudden gains, losses or changes in income that would make you rethink what real stability actually is. You may have attachments regarding material belongings challenged, causing you to learn the difference between value and valuables.
On a more profound level, Pluto here is transforming your self-worth. Fears associated with dependency or lack, and a tendency to associate value with control may come up for you. These are the things that teach you to become strong from within and not through validation of others.
You are a Scorpio, so you already know transformation and depth on an instinctual level, but this transit will challenge you to apply all of that wisdom to the concrete realms in life — money, work, personal values.
Your relationship to safety and self-worth will be turned completely read by the end of this cycle. You are going to know how to build a stability that is the same from one’s materials and spiritual life, based on self confidence and personal power.
