J. Edgar Hoover Bio

John Edgar Hoover (January 1, 1895 – May 2, 1972) was the first Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States. He was appointed as the sixth director of the Bureau of Investigation—predecessor to the FBI—in 1924 and was instrumental in founding the FBI in 1935, where he remained director until his death in 1972, aged 77. Hoover is credited with building the FBI into a larger crime-fighting agency than it was at its inception, and with instituting a number of modernizations to police technology, such as a centralized fingerprint file and forensic laboratories. Later in life and after his death, Hoover became a controversial figure as evidence of his secretive abuses of power began to surface. He was found to have exceeded the jurisdiction of the FBI,and to have used the FBI to harass political dissenters and activists, to amass secret files on political leaders, and to collect evidence using illegal methods. Hoover consequently amassed a great deal of power and was in a position to intimidate and threaten sitting presidents. According to biographer Kenneth Ackerman, the notion that Hoover's secret files kept presidents from firing him is a myth. However, Richard Nixon was recorded as stating in 1971 that one of the reasons he did not fire Hoover was that he was afraid of reprisals against him from Hoover. According to President Harry S. Truman, Hoover transformed the FBI into his private secret police force. Truman stated: "we want no Gestapo or secret police. The FBI is tending in that direction. They are dabbling in sex-life scandals and plain blackmail. J. Edgar Hoover would give his right eye to take over, and all congressmen and senators are afraid of him."

Asc in Capricorn

Sun in Capricorn

When the Sun is in the sign of Capricorn, you have the impression that they are living in a unique period of the year. This moment is their opportunity to shine, to pursue their passions, and to move closer to achieving goals. Their ability to become more disciplined, responsible, and naturally adept at leading people will improve as a result of reading this chapter. These characteristics will all continue to improve. There is a clear indication that individuals are more self-assured, well-organized, and prepared to take on problems. As of right now, they should make certain that they are aware of what their long-term objectives are, give serious consideration to the means by which they will achieve them, and engage in activities that will assist in achieving them. At this stage in professional life, they have a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how committed they are to work and how skilled they are in their field. The results of their efforts are visible to others when put in the effort. Now is the time to begin planning plans, engaging in conversation with other individuals, and cleaning the house. According to the energy of Capricorn, the most effective strategy for winning a race is to go at a modest and steady pace; thus, you must be patient and keep going. It is made very evident by the Sun how essential it is to exhibit honesty, loyalty, and consistency while interacting with other people. It's possible that they'll need to establish significant relationships, make certain that their expectations are crystal clear, and construct solid collaborations. It is possible to cultivate connections that are more profound and long-lasting if they are honest and avoid suppressing emotions.

Moon in Pisces

If they are a Capricorn and the Moon is in the sign of Pisces, they are a unique blend of practicality and creativity, as well as intuition and aspiration. Therefore, they are a distinctive combination. The Moon is currently located in the sign of Scorpio, which explains this. As a Capricorn, they are characterized by the qualities of self-control, tenacity, and success. There is no doubt that they possess the characteristics of a natural-born leader who is compelled to leave a legacy that will endure and to guarantee the safety of others. Their emotional inner world, on the other hand, is powered by a boundless capacity for empathy and creativity, as well as a spiritual sensitivity that runs against your normally rational character, while their Moon is in Pisces. This is because their emotional inner world is fueled by these qualities. The emotional universe that they live in on the inside is provided with fuel by these things. The combination of these characteristics results in the dynamic that is commonly referred to as "hard outside, soft inside." The realism that their Capricorn possesses provides structure to their Pisces fantasies, which in turn assists them in developing thoughts into a more tangible shape. They are an empathetic chief executive officer who recognizes that the well-being of employees is just as important as increased revenues. Due to the fact that they have a heart, they are the CEO. As a result of their capacity to bridge the gap between the spiritual and material sides of life, they possess a vast amount of information and tremendous power.

Mercury in Capricorn

With the double-earth energy, you are one of the most focused and action-oriented people in the zodiac. You don’t just think, you act on your thoughts with a relentless grip: a double-edged blessing. You want to dig down the bottom of an anything and you're so deep, emotionally that you are loyal and fiercely protective, defending your loved ones with everything in you.
But all of that power brings considerable headaches. The double Capricorn might turn you intensely dramatic and defensive instead, since your emotions can be a bit reserved when they guard that precious inner world of yours. You may find you want emotional time to recover, but the feelings are so strong it’s hard to cope. The world can seem like a lot, and you might be susceptible to burnout in defense of your powerful inner landscape.
The way to your inner peace is by accepting the positive and transformative force of your emotions. Revealing healthy ways to express the intensity you’ve found — through art, a channel of creativity or in a deep and trusted connection with another human being — can help you weather the worst depths without being swallowed up by them. How much The first of most all signs, your emotional health depends upon the release of your mighty feelings so that you can feel like a human being, to dissolve inferior feelings: you want regular intercourse with crowds as well as individuals; and using some of your incredible gifts for crying out loud heals by touching with this kind of light that is beyond what most people call “thankful".

Venus in Capricorn

When the hardworking, disciplined Capricorn sun makes its way to rest in loyal, traditional Venus's domain of Capricorn, you become one being of pure ambition and loyal tradition. Your external world is a universe of sex appeal, and your inner world of relationships reflects that same all-pervading, fierce and faithful love.
This double-earth positioning gives you some of the fiercest focus and follow-through in the zodiac. You’re not feeling love, you are love. You have a strong faith in your own vision, and you always persevere on behalf of the people or causes you love. But your love is not one person alone, it is the love of humankind and you are attracted to the magic and spiritualism in each connection.
But all of this power comes with great difficulty. The double Capricorn can make you very dramatic, with a tendency toward defensiveness, as you may keep your feelings close to the chest to protect the softie at your center. You could find that you need to be emotionally patient as your emotions can be overwhelming. The world can be too much, and you might adapt to a place where burnout is more likely if it feels like the emotional costs are higher. The way to peace of soul for you is in the form of love that embraces both the spiritual and the carnal. By finding someone who will help you to make it through the practicalities of life, you may find another place to pour your boundless love other than directly onto yourself.

Mars in Taurus

Your outward seeking self wants to be great and has expectations of balance in everything, but your inner realm is fueled by a strong need for real stability, sensual peace and comfort as well as sweet slow methods toward long term goals.
It’s a wonderful tension, a beautiful tug that you feel. Your Capricorn sun — which desires to build a secure and stable life, not only for yourself but for a partner as well. But your Mars in Taurus is drawing you toward a reality of physical well-being, practical goals and an endless effort to construct a stable life. The part of you that wants to succeed and be secure in all ways is matched with an inner motivation toward communication, diversity, and a fun, intellectual way of expanding itself.
This creates a beautifully fascinating tug. Your Capricorn sun desires to create a nice life and sturdy foundation for a loved one. But your Jupiter in Gemini pulls you towards a universe of deep passion, transformative ambitions and an unceasing search for the very centre of things. That’s because you can not only experience the incredible, deep feelings of human bonding—you can also use your energy in a way that is fiercely loyal, protective and committed.

With your Gemini drive infusing the motivation of your Capricorn, together you have an incredible sense of direction and strong roots. You’re attracted to relationships that are growth-oriented and aspirational, founded in spiritual principles you share and a fierce commitment. Your energy is best in a space were mutual respect and discovery are ongoing.

But the great lesson of your life, which comes from Saturn, is to go into the depths and come out transformed in your relationships. The combination sets up an intriguing push-pull between your go-getter practicality and objective exploration, and a deep need for probing questions.
Your Capricorn sun simply wants to be the lord of its own castle, a forward-moving force who can only taste victory through execution so perfect that no one else even notices it take place. But your Saturn in Scorpio is here to school you that the genuine champion never shys away from facing those deeper truths in relationships. It makes you stand for what is right, even if it’s uncomfortable, and set clear boundaries so that you can give to others without losing yourself. The work is to be a careful planner and, when necessary, an advocate for justice.

Your job is to exercise the full extent of your intellectual curiosity to build relationships and communities based on respect and profound trust. THIS is the area in which you lead: navigating the rocky coastlines of complicated, uncomfortable emotions while holding a line in the sand for what you believe to be right.

Uranus in Scorpio

someone with their sun in Capricorn and Uranus in Scorpio is the suave CEO that must morph into the radical investigator. Your natural instincts are to build and accomplish, to live a life that reflects success and stability through your hard work and discipline. But Uranus, your life’s great teacher, reminds you that it’s all about creating balance, structure and a deep metamorphosis in your relationships. This blend makes for a really interesting push and pull between your ambitious, material side. A deep longing to explore in the abstract.
Your Capricorn sun wants to be the king of your jungle: a strong leader whose success is determined by their ability to proficiently execute. But, your Uranus in Scorpio is here to show you that true success means making a conscious effort to face the murky underbelly of truth in your partnerships. It makes you take a stand for what’s right, even when it is uncomfortable, and create strong enough boundaries so that you can give to others without giving yourself away. You can stand up and be a strong voice, be a public leader who brings tranquility to your social environments and beyond. Your job is to leverage your huge intellectual curiosity in the service of building relationships and communities where respect and trust rule. You are able to traverse winding paths of emotion, while still drawing the line in the sand for what you believe is true.
Your road to a happy life is learning the etiquette of the fair partnership.

Sun in Capricorn 10°53’

Capricorn sign is ruled by the planet Saturn, which gives people born under this sign peace, patience, perseverance and ambition. These people are able to put maximum effort into work they have chosen to do or which they were told to do. They are friendly and cheerful people, but in their essence they are serious and responsible, and everything they do is based on these attitudes.

They are very strong-willed and therefore usually achieve what they want and do not leave anything to chance. In business dealings they will adhere to well-defined contracts, and they will adhere to good practices during research work for preparatory studies or in the field of art. It is interesting that these people usually choose the most challenging tasks, and obstacles actually make them stronger instead of causing them hardship. It never bothers them to start the same task again and again until they attain the best possible result. Not many people are as suitable for research activity as Capricorns.

They are cautious and reliable people that other people trust because tact and discretion are among their good personal traits. Their mind focused on work does not let them to be distracted by a large circle of friends, but if they accept someone, they are faithful to them. They might seem boring to other people, but in the company of people who suit them they are cheerful and funny companions. Their humour is witty, because even in this case they do not succumb to superficiality.

Moon in Pisces 9°51’

Moon in Pisces has the greatest sensitivity and perceptiveness of surroundings. The person can experience feelings of insecurity, be passive and only wait and see what happens in his life. If you engage in creative or spiritual search, you can become an artist or a mystic with great imagination.

You may be docile and seductive and you dream of your ideal partner. Thanks to your imagination you may actually find him, but over time the dream vanishes and your partner will eventually start to seem boring and spoiled to you. You have to accept the reality that is actually somewhere in between. You have the tendency to have habits, and alcohol or drugs may become one of them. But they are only substitutes and you need to figure out what your soul really needs. Instead of searching for ship of dreams you should become a lifeboat.

Ascendant in Capricorn 10°22’

Ascendant (Rising Sign)

People with Capricorn Ascendant must first become aware of their two opposing sides. One is obedience and performing their duties properly. They need to manage energy well and this requires discipline and self-control. They must achieve some social prestige and recognition. The other side is the ability to organize practical matters and achieve their goals, and also the ability to enjoy sensual pleasures.

Cancer Descendant - Partners & Compatibility
If you have a Capricorn Ascendant, your Cancer Descendant will awaken your gentleness, sensitivity and need to look after and protect. You should appreciate a partner who tries to help you get out of your thick skin with his childish naivety. You need his care, so do not be afraid to reveal the small child who is still hiding in you. Release your emotions, because if you do not do that, the dam that holds them will one day burst open.

Maybe you need to find out that you are comfortable in a traditional family setting, in which everybody knows their respective roles, responsibilities and boundaries.
