John Wesley Bio

John Wesley (/ˈdʒɒn ˈwɛsli/ or /ˈdʒɒn ˈwɛzli/; 28 June [O.S. 17 June] 1703 – 2 March 1791) was an Anglican cleric and theologian who, with his brother Charles and fellow cleric George Whitefield, founded Methodism. Educated at Charterhouse School and Oxford University, Wesley was elected a fellow of Lincoln College, Oxford in 1726 and ordained a priest two years later. Returning to Oxford in 1729 after serving as curate at his father's parish, he led the Holy Club, a society formed for the purpose of study and the pursuit of a devout Christian life; it had been founded by his brother Charles, and counted George Whitefield among its members. After an unsuccessful ministry of two years at Savannah in the Georgia Colony, Wesley returned to London and joined a religious society led by Moravian Christians. On 24 May 1738 he experienced what has come to be called his evangelical conversion, when he felt his "heart strangely warmed". He subsequently departed from the Moravians, beginning his own ministry. A key step in the development of Wesley's ministry was, like Whitefield, to travel and preach outdoors. In contrast to Whitefield's Calvinism, Wesley embraced the Arminian doctrines that dominated the Church of England at the time. Moving across Great Britain and Ireland, he helped form and organise small Christian groups that developed intensive and personal accountability, discipleship and religious instruction. Most importantly, he appointed itinerant, unordained evangelists to travel and preach as he did and to care for these groups of people. Under Wesley's direction, Methodists became leaders in many social issues of the day, including prison reform and the abolition of slavery. Although he was not a systematic theologian, Wesley argued for the notion of Christian perfection and against Calvinism—and, in particular, against its doctrine of predestination. He held that, in this life, Christians could achieve a state where the love of God "reigned supreme in their hearts", giving them outward holiness. His evangelicalism, firmly grounded in sacramental theology, maintained that means of grace were the manner by which God sanctifies and transforms the believer, encouraging people to experience Jesus Christ personally. Throughout his life, Wesley remained within the established Anglican church, insisting that the Methodist movement lay well within its tradition. In his early ministry, Wesley was barred from preaching in many parish churches and the Methodists were persecuted; he later became widely respected and, by the end of his life, had been described as "the best loved man in England". In 2002, he was placed at number 50 in the BBC's poll of the 100 Greatest Britons.

Sun in Gemini

Asc in Pisces

Sun in Gemini

During the time that the Sun is in Gemini, which is your sign, their natural curiosity, adaptability, and need to interact with other people are at their highest levels. During this time period, their intelligence and communication abilities will strengthen, which means that they will be able to inspire and connect with others around them, as well as articulate their thoughts in a manner that is not only understandable but also concise. As they gain greater self-assurance in their identity, there is a probability that other people may be more open to the jokes and comments that you make. Traveling in this manner affords individuals the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, make new acquaintances, and extend their perspectives. This is a wonderful moment for Geminis to try out new hobbies, take part in conversations that need them to think deeply, or undertake projects that require a large amount of mental effort. Geminis are very flexible, so this is an excellent time for them to do any of these things. They are able to quickly adapt to new situations and grasp chances that need quick thinking and flexibility because they are flexible. This ability allows them to quickly adapt to new information and conditions.

Moon in Cancer

Geminis with the Moon in Cancer are an interesting mix because they have a rare combination of watery desire and airy mind. Their Gemini personality is made up of three main traits: a strong need for change, the ability to communicate well, and a heightened sense of curiosity. Their inner world, which is ruled by a Cancer Moon, is very emotional and sensitive. It needs to feel safe and like it belongs in order to work properly. Their Cancer Moon is in charge of inner world, which is why this is true. There is a chance that these two things together will create an interesting internal dynamic. Their Gemini nature, on the other hand, likes to switch between thoughts a lot, while their Cancer Moon wants a steady routine and a deep emotional connection. People might feel like they are being pulled in two different directions because of this. They seem detached and flighty at first glance, but they have an emotional side that is surprisingly weak. They really want a safe place to call home, and their emotional side is surprisingly weak. That said, this combination also gives a lot of power because of how it works together. Their Cancer Moon's emotional complexity is something that needs to be brought to the forefront of their analytical Gemini personality. They will be able to figure out what they're feeling and communicate it in a way that other people can understand by using mental flexibility.

It enables you to not just know the mental power of human connection, but to apply your energy in a way that's super malleable, smart and forward-thinking.
When you actually use your intuition and make things happen with an understated resolve, that is when this combo is really effective. Your Aries motivator adds militaristic purpose to the intellectual intelligence of your Gemini. You’re attracted to alliances that seem broad, hopeful connections based on common spiritual aspirations and a passionate dedication. Your energy is best in an environment that has a level of mutual respect and routine discovery.

Uranus in Cancer

You are a likeable wordsmith with your Gemini sun and a Uranus in Cancer, a smart creator who has to transform into a nurturing prophet. On an intuitive level, you are more at ease collecting information and turning over every side of a situation, touching gently with a curious mind. But Uranus’s greatest lesson in your life is to maintain balance, order, and extreme transformation in your relationships. This gives you a compelling and pulling interaction between your intellectual gifts and your profound need for objectivity within the realm. Your Gemini sun desires that you be the witty traveler, the sort who reacts to bold ideas and open-ended interaction. But your Uranus in Cancer has come to show you that still, visibility requires you to ramble down the tough points in your friendships. It drives you to stand up for the truth, and you require to learn the boundaries so you could give to your love without disposing of yourself. Your greatest difficulty is to be both an imitator and a resolute supporter of the cause. The might of this formation is to utilize your raw wisdom as a structured, apparent power for good. You would address the groups, drive the people to harmony both in social and personal lives. Your goal in life is to utilize your vast intellectual curiosity to create friendships and neighbourhoods rooted on courtesy and extreme trust. You are particularly prepared to ride tough emotion carts and yet draw a solid mark in the ground what you view before. Your life’s significant goal is to fulfill the practice of the equitable partnership. Your life’s purposes are centered around how sturdy a relationship you develop and perhaps never what you comprehend.

Neptune in Aries

A Gemini sun, Neptune in Aries individual is a trail-blazing wordsmith who learns to speak on behalf of a future generation. You are who you are, curious and with a need to talk and discuss things. This is further enhanced with Neptune's desire for brilliant and revolutionary self-discovery. The result is a dynamic tension between your yearning for mental freedom and a strong, subliminal desire to revolutionize yourself.
You’re not merely a thinker, but an inspired creator with inspiring ideas. Your goal is to make your most heartfelt artistic and personal sentiments into something durable and impactful. The trick is integrating your intellectual self with your often-radical ideas. The lesson here is to learn how to believe in your own inner visions (your intuition) without becoming too dreamy or resistant against the change that your own vision requires. Your talent is to put your inimitable agility into something as beautiful as it is form-pushing.
Your path to a full life is rooted in becoming a courageous artist, not merely inattentive. Your history won’t think about what you knew, but what created something real and inspiring. Yet when you learn to trust your vision, it will not only shine with genius — it will guide those around you in discovery of their own brave purpose.

Pluto in Leo

Given that Pluto is in Leo and Leo rules your 3rd house of Gemini, this transit powers up this sector of your chart that rules communication. Your voice is hooked up to the amplifier. Every word seems to now carry some weight — casual conversation doesn’t satisfy you. Be prepared to surmise the ill-fated experiences of being known as “too intense” in the coming ten plus years. Gossip will feel like a waste of time. Your conversation becomes more and more truthful. It actually makes a difference for the first time when you talk.
Connections with siblings or neighbors could deepen. Power plays may come into play, but so can opportunities for healing and reconnecting. Community bonds can change as well — Pluto wants you to invest time and energy into relationships that make you better instead of drain your spirit.
Mentally, this transit is something like a rewiring. Your mind sharpens, your curiosity deepens and your mind grows more resilient. When Pluto finally moves out of Leo, you will have changed the way in which you communicate, learn and connect. Not only will your words inform, they’ll inspire and empower.
