Patricia Owens Bio

Patricia Molly Owens (January 17, 1925 – August 31, 2000) was a Canadian-born American actress, working in Hollywood. She appeared in about 40 films and 10 TV episodes in a career lasting from 1943 to 1968. Owens moved to England in 1933 with her parents (her father Arthur Owens who was later to become an MI5 double agent), and ten years later, at age 18, she made her motion-picture debut in Val Guest's musical comedy Miss London Ltd. The following year, she had a small role in Harold French's social satire English Without Tears. Her career continued in this manner for a few years, Owens getting ever-larger roles in movies. Her career took a great step upward when she was seen by a 20th Century Fox executive while performing in a theatrical production of Sabrina Fair and was offered a screen test. The result was a contract with the studio and a move to Hollywood. Her first American film was Island in the Sun (1957), soon followed by No Down Payment, both for Fox, after which Owens was loaned out to Warner Bros. to play opposite Marlon Brando in the drama Sayonara (1957), one of the most critically acclaimed movies of the year. Owens spent the rest of 1957 working mostly on loan-out, but it was a Fox production that secured her place in motion picture history—as Helene Delambre, the wife of scientist Andre Delambre in The Fly (1958), co-starring with David Hedison and Vincent Price. Owens carried much of the film's narrative, which was largely told in flashback from her character's point of view. She never had another movie that was of the calibre of The Fly. She co-starred with Jeffrey Hunter and David Janssen in a 1960 war film, Hell to Eternity, then in 1961 was reduced to working in the threadbare, backlot POW/jungle chase drama Seven Women from Hell. Owens made occasional television appearances, on series such as Perry Mason and Burke's Law, but these were relatively infrequent. Owens also starred in one of the 17 episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents directed by Hitchcock himself, "The Crystal Trench" (1959). By 1965, she was working in Black Spurs, one of producer A.C. Lyles' B-Westerns, renowned for their use of aging genre stars. Owens retired from movies after portraying Richard Egan's love interest in the low-budget espionage thriller The Destructors (1968). Her last professional appearance was in an episode of Lassie (1968). She was the third wife of screenwriter and producer Sy Bartlett.

Sun in Capricorn

When the Sun is in the sign of Capricorn, you have the impression that they are living in a unique period of the year. This moment is their opportunity to shine, to pursue their passions, and to move closer to achieving goals. Their ability to become more disciplined, responsible, and naturally adept at leading people will improve as a result of reading this chapter. These characteristics will all continue to improve. There is a clear indication that individuals are more self-assured, well-organized, and prepared to take on problems. As of right now, they should make certain that they are aware of what their long-term objectives are, give serious consideration to the means by which they will achieve them, and engage in activities that will assist in achieving them. At this stage in professional life, they have a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how committed they are to work and how skilled they are in their field. The results of their efforts are visible to others when put in the effort. Now is the time to begin planning plans, engaging in conversation with other individuals, and cleaning the house. According to the energy of Capricorn, the most effective strategy for winning a race is to go at a modest and steady pace; thus, you must be patient and keep going. It is made very evident by the Sun how essential it is to exhibit honesty, loyalty, and consistency while interacting with other people. It's possible that they'll need to establish significant relationships, make certain that their expectations are crystal clear, and construct solid collaborations. It is possible to cultivate connections that are more profound and long-lasting if they are honest and avoid suppressing emotions.

Moon in Libra

For a Capricorn, the Moon in Libra represents a beautiful fusion of earthy ambition and ethereal harmony. These two qualities combine to make them unique. The most crucial traits them have as a Capricorn are a strategic approach, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering will to complete the tasks they set out to complete. However, their emotional inner world, which is ruled by the Moon and Libra, is looking for balance and needs a calm and harmonious environment to feel secure. It's possible that these two elements working together will ultimately result in an interesting internal dynamic. But when it comes to managing emotions, their Libra Moon requires a partner and a cool-headed, collected approach. Their Libra Moon needs a partner, but their Capricorn nature wants to take charge and gradually move up the success ladder. Both of these elements must be present for success to be achieved. There is a chance that this could lead to a great deal of conflict between the strong desire to lead oneself and take the initiative and work with others. On the outside, they might appear to be cool under pressure, but on the inside, they're desperate for approval and connection. This is even though they might appear to be cool under pressure. Their ambitious nature, which indicates that they are a Capricorn, greatly benefits from the mental and social framework that their Libra Moon provides. This is because the sign of Libra is represented by their Libra Moon. They are not only a clever planner but also a captivating leader who can articulate their vision in a way that is appropriate for social settings and authoritative.

Mercury in Capricorn

With the double-earth energy, you are one of the most focused and action-oriented people in the zodiac. You don’t just think, you act on your thoughts with a relentless grip: a double-edged blessing. You want to dig down the bottom of an anything and you're so deep, emotionally that you are loyal and fiercely protective, defending your loved ones with everything in you.
But all of that power brings considerable headaches. The double Capricorn might turn you intensely dramatic and defensive instead, since your emotions can be a bit reserved when they guard that precious inner world of yours. You may find you want emotional time to recover, but the feelings are so strong it’s hard to cope. The world can seem like a lot, and you might be susceptible to burnout in defense of your powerful inner landscape.
The way to your inner peace is by accepting the positive and transformative force of your emotions. Revealing healthy ways to express the intensity you’ve found — through art, a channel of creativity or in a deep and trusted connection with another human being — can help you weather the worst depths without being swallowed up by them. How much The first of most all signs, your emotional health depends upon the release of your mighty feelings so that you can feel like a human being, to dissolve inferior feelings: you want regular intercourse with crowds as well as individuals; and using some of your incredible gifts for crying out loud heals by touching with this kind of light that is beyond what most people call “thankful".

Venus in Capricorn

When the hardworking, disciplined Capricorn sun makes its way to rest in loyal, traditional Venus's domain of Capricorn, you become one being of pure ambition and loyal tradition. Your external world is a universe of sex appeal, and your inner world of relationships reflects that same all-pervading, fierce and faithful love.
This double-earth positioning gives you some of the fiercest focus and follow-through in the zodiac. You’re not feeling love, you are love. You have a strong faith in your own vision, and you always persevere on behalf of the people or causes you love. But your love is not one person alone, it is the love of humankind and you are attracted to the magic and spiritualism in each connection.
But all of this power comes with great difficulty. The double Capricorn can make you very dramatic, with a tendency toward defensiveness, as you may keep your feelings close to the chest to protect the softie at your center. You could find that you need to be emotionally patient as your emotions can be overwhelming. The world can be too much, and you might adapt to a place where burnout is more likely if it feels like the emotional costs are higher. The way to peace of soul for you is in the form of love that embraces both the spiritual and the carnal. By finding someone who will help you to make it through the practicalities of life, you may find another place to pour your boundless love other than directly onto yourself.

Mars in Aries

With the ambitious, structured Capricorn sun meeting the driven, fiery in Mars Aries, your flow of actions is a luscious mix of practical ambition and explosive force. Your "survival" self wants success, but the world where you get your motivation needs challenge, freedom and quick, blunt action.
This dynamic makes for a lovely and intriguing tug. Your Capricorn sun craves to create a secure life and sturdy foundation for a mate. But your Mars in Aries drags you to a place of bold action, individual aims and an ongoing search for the hero. This gives you the emotional gut in human connection but also, you can apply your energy in a very direct. courageous and future-oriented way.
Your greatest strength is the courageous animal instincts you can follow quietly to manifest what’s needed. Your Aries desire can provide the profound meaning beneath your Capricorn's ambitious surface and a powerful base on which to build. You are attracted to unions that feel expansive and buoyant, constructed from mutual transcendental goals and a fierce loyalty. Positive energy comes as a result of mutual respect and a feeling of discovery that never dies.

Jupiter in Capricorn

In this moment, the ambitious, disciplined Capricorn sun meets its luck and expansion in the lucky and expansive house of Jupiter in Capricorn, making you a wild force to be reckoned with — both boundless ambition and unwavering drive. So you‘re getting a constant set of charisma’s externally but that deep, driving inner world is nothing if not reflective of the same all consuming and fiercely loyal love.
This double-earth placement turns you into one of the most laser-focused and action-oriented peeps in the zodiac. You’re not just feeling love; you are love. You're firm in your vision  of things, and you've got a seriously protective streak that makes you steadfastly devoted to those who have won your affections. Your love does not belong to one person alone; it is love for all of humanity, and you find magic in a spiritual connection with just about everyone.
But all of this awesome power has some drawbacks. The double Capricorn has the ability to render you very dramatic and defensive, as you keep your emotions close to your heart, guarding that vulnerable soul of yours. You could have a tendency to require emotionally patient, your feelings are really hard to deal with in some cases. The world can be a lot and it’s easy to burn out when you’re feeling emotionally drained.
Your road to ultimate frisbee lies in accepting a love that is transcendent and down-to-earth. If you can find a partner who will support and guide you through the day-to-day, you can learn to focus your inflamed love beyond the busloads of walking human pudenda and channel it into useful action that won’t devour you. You will heal, and you’ll be able to connect with others in a way that few can, because finding an outlet for your intense feelings is crucial to your emotional health.

Saturn in Scorpio

A person with their sun in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio is akin to a CEO having to transform themselves into a private equity manager. Your essential nature is to construct and accomplish, to create a successful, organized life through hard work and focus. But the great lesson of your life, which comes from Saturn, is to go into the depths and come out transformed in your relationships. The combination sets up an intriguing push-pull between your go-getter practicality and objective exploration, and a deep need for probing questions.
Your Capricorn sun simply wants to be the lord of its own castle, a forward-moving force who can only taste victory through execution so perfect that no one else even notices it take place. But your Saturn in Scorpio is here to school you that the genuine champion never shys away from facing those deeper truths in relationships. It makes you stand for what is right, even if it’s uncomfortable, and set clear boundaries so that you can give to others without losing yourself. The work is to be a careful planner and, when necessary, an advocate for justice.
The real magic of this position is its ability to turn your teen drama queen-level thirst into a structured, aboveboard source for good. As a show of love, you can be a strong voice and also a public leader who brings peace to your community no matter where it is. Your job is to exercise the full extent of your intellectual curiosity to build relationships and communities based on respect and profound trust. THIS is the area in which you lead: navigating the rocky coastlines of complicated, uncomfortable emotions while holding a line in the sand for what you believe to be right.

Uranus in Pisces

With your Capricorn sun and a Uranus in Pisces, it is as if a seasoned CEO cannot become a visionary artist. The most natural thing for you are primitive instincts of building surprising and getting closer to life, which in your case means success and structure based on the achievements of authority and effort itself. But Uranus zings you an understanding when you have already created the maximum authority relative to others, delivering a lesson in a dynamic balance of your inner structures of gray relationships. It is an unusual combination, given the opposition to the ambitious and practical you are, to the objective need for finding relations with a serious and honest relation. A Capricorn sun fights in everything to be the Lord of the Rock, and that you can only win when all the conditions are satisfied, and there are no deviations from the ideal plan. From the standpoint of Uranus, you realize that it is not enough to achieve a flawless relationship. You have to deliberate any alternative indicated, sometimes contrary, and stand up for the right of justice, even if you already know the answer. Can’t think in a correct manner to give without surrendering yourself to others and perceiving infinite power simultaneously.
The real power of this placement, though, is turning your unrefined ambition into a tangible, material force for good. You can be a strong leader, a voice for the public who fosters harmony in your communities — and beyond. With your demanding and voracious intellect you have a mission to form relationships, communities grounded in respect and deep confidence. You are particularly well-suited to wade into the mess of emotional states while taking a stand on what you believe is right.

Neptune in Leo

A Capricorn sun with Neptune in Leo is a disciplined visionary, who grows to create a legacy through the power of creativity. You're the sum of your ambition and the hard success you seek, ever determined to take life's next practical step toward the top. This combines with Neptune’s drive for an entirely new, artful reality and grandiose, idealised self. It’s this push-pull relationship between your ambition and an irresistible, underlying urge for a creative uprising.
This position places you not only in a position of leadership, but as a spiritual monarch. Your mission is to make something of your deepest artistic and personal feelings that will really matter for a new generation. The problem is finding a way to reconcile your careful, systematic side with the urge to put complicated thoughts into words. Your life’s work is to trust fully in the intuitive vision you have without trying to be controlling and resistant of change that your own damned dream requires. You’re powerful because you can turn that unstinting practicality into something gorgeous and transgressive.
The way to a fulfilled life lies in learning not just how to be an ambitious artist, but how to be a courageous one. Your legacy is not in any way for just your own success, but for what you made real as a tangible inspiring creation. As you grow to trust your vision, your genius will not only be revealed— it can become a force that draws others into their own creative purpose.

Pluto in Cancer

Pluto in Cancer enters your house of marriage, partnerships and one on ones, Capricorn. To you, this is the destined chapter in which relationships are the mirror of change. Any bond — romantic, work or otherwise — can change your life.
Relationships during this transit are not lightweight or casual. They’re going to feel magnetic, karmic and at times, overwhelming. Some unions will strengthen into deep partnerships, while others may fray if power asymmetries aren’t addressed. Pluto doesn’t stand for pretense — it demands that your bonds are as real and raw as they are mutually empowering.
This energy also manifests in collaborations and rivalries. You might attract people who rub you the wrong way, push your buttons or mirror to you parts of yourself that you’ve been avoiding. The lesson? Discovering how to share power without giving it away, and how to stand strong in partnership without losing your self.
By the time Pluto leaves Cancer, You will have an entirely new attitude toward love and marriage, Capricorn. You will never slide, for scale again. Rather, you will experience what it is to create connections built on depth, truth and unshakeable trust.

They are friendly and cheerful people, but in their essence they are serious and responsible, and everything they do is based on these attitudes.

In business dealings they will adhere to well-defined contracts, and they will adhere to good practices during research work for preparatory studies or in the field of art. It is interesting that these people usually choose the most challenging tasks, and obstacles actually make them stronger instead of causing them hardship. It never bothers them to start the same task again and again until they attain the best possible result. Not many people are as suitable for research activity as Capricorns.
