Stephen J. "Steve" Ditko (born November 2, 1927) is an American comic book artist and writer best known as the artist and co-creator, with Stan Lee, of the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, and as creator of the supernatural hero Doctor Strange. Ditko studied under Batman artist Jerry Robinson at the Cartoonist and Illustrators School in New York City. He began his professional career in 1953, working in the studio of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, beginning as an inker and coming under the influence of artist Mort Meskin. During this time, he then began his long association with Charlton Comics, where he did work in the genres of science fiction, horror, and mystery. He also co-created the superhero Captain Atom in 1960. During the 1950s, Ditko also drew for Atlas Comics, a forerunner of Marvel Comics. He went on to contribute much significant work to Marvel. In 1966, after being the exclusive artist on The Amazing Spider-Man and the "Doctor Strange" feature in Strange Tales, Ditko left Marvel for reasons never specified. Ditko continued to work for Charlton and also DC Comics, making major contributions, including a revamp of the long-running character Blue Beetle, and creating or co-creating the Question, the Creeper, Shade, the Changing Man, and Hawk and Dove. Ditko also began contributing to small independent publishers, where he created Mr. A, a hero reflecting the influence of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism. Since the 1960s, Ditko has declined most interviews, stating that it is his work he offers readers, and not his personality. Ditko was inducted into the comics industry's Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1990, and into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994.

Scorpio is able to get a new, objective, and inventive perspective on the universe as a result of the Moon's location in Aquarius. On the other hand, the emotional world of Scorpio is profound, dramatic, and profoundly changing. As a result of the fact that their feelings are often founded on sentiment and intense emotional ties, it is probable that they will need to take a step back and assess them from a viewpoint that is more reasonable and devoid of emotion. When it comes to experimenting with being self-sufficient, experiencing emotional liberation, and forming new relationships with other people, the present now is the ideal time to pursue these activities. There are a lot of things that have the potential to be substantial sources of emotional fulfillment throughout this time period. Mercury in Scorpio
With the Scorpio sun your mind is deep, emotional self-improvement may have little to no bounds. The whole of you is a dark and solid pool of confidence, and you have an unmovable belief in your vision. That double-water placement makes you one of the zodiac’s most fiercely focused and action-oriented individuals. You are not just a thinker; you feel and act on your thoughts with fierce tenacity, for better or worse. But such tremendous power also has its challenges. It can also make you intensely dramatic, and on guard — because sometimes you hold your emotions close to the chest (in an effort to avoid having them crushed) around that sensitive inner core world. You might feel to struggle with emotional patience, the feelings can run so deep that are hard to handle. The world can be a lot, and you may find yourself building a barrier against burnout to safeguard your potent inner landscape. The road to contentment exists in reframing the role of your emotions. It’s by finding healthy ways to express the intensity you feel — be it through art, a pursuit or a deep, trusting relationship with another — that help you learn how to navigate the depths without being submerged in them. Your mental health relies on you releasing your strong feelings outward, so that you can employ your fantastic intelligence to heal and connect with others in a way few ever can.
Venus in Virgo
When the powerful, regenerative Scorpio sun connects with the detail-oriented, service-minded domain of Venus in Virgo on Friday, you’re someone who loves with deep independence that is devotedly loyal and practical beyond measure. Your public face is in need of an intense, and consuming emotional bond but your private life runs from the safe harbor of comfort and security. This gives it a lovely and intriguing tug. Your Scorpio sun craves every story to be unpacked until you’ve exposed its emotional core. But your Venus in Virgo tempts you into a discipline of service, of solid structures, and a craving to construct a life of ease and security. Through it you can not only sense the emotional heights of human contact, but you can communicate your love in a manner that is deeply comforting, loyal and physically present. The real magic of this pairing is that you love with a high emotional intensity and yet are anything but unsophisticated, or even overly idealistic. Your Virgo heart grounds the boundless intensity of Scorpio — leaving you one serious healer who can ground your feels in reality. You’re focused on relationships that you can find a safe comfort within, the kind where you both feel emotionally secure and fiercely loyal to one another, and your love would thrive in an atmosphere of mutual respect and admiration for each other.
Mars in Scorpio
This double-water positioning makes you one of the most intensely focused and action-oriented humans in the zodiac. It’s not just that you feel the love; you are, in fact, the love. You carry yourself with an unollowerried confidence in what you know is right, and you’re one of the most loyal folks out there — ready to defend anyone you love. Your love is not of a singular person, but it’s the love for mankind and you’re attracted more to the magic and spiritual spell in each connection. But with this enormous power, there are massive challenges that these services face. The double Scorpio can render you dramatically intense and defensive, since you may guard your feelings close to your vest in order to protect a sensitive inner self. It’s very possible that you face a need of emotional patience, as your feelings are likely to be incredibly strong and hard to keep in check. The world can be a lot, and when you’re emotionally drained, it’s easy to slip into burnout. For inner peace you must embrace a love grounded in the spirit. And by finding someone who can ground you and guide you through “real life” so that this never-ending compassion doesn't control your every move. Your mental health relies on getting your immense emotional charge out, so you can leverage the hell out of your capacity to transform and connect with people in ways most cannot.
Jupiter in Pisces
After all, when the intense, transformative Scorpio sun blends its luck and expansiveness with the visionary, empathetic Jupiter in Pisces, your passion becomes both an unstoppable tidal wave of emotional depth at its finest and unwavering spirituality. Your outer self is motivated by the intense need for closeness and intimacy and the unquenchable fire of passion, but beneath that, your inner motivations are underpinned by an unshakable need for empathy, wild creativity, and holistic, spiritual growth. This contrast creates a peculiar and compelling tug-of-war. Your sun in Scorpio is eager to probe an issue’s emotional heart and dramatically merge with a partner, but your Jupiter in Pisces conspires to immerse you in a world of profound passion, transformational goals, and a relentless urge to get to the heart of things. You must therefore not only experience the emotional depths of us in a fiercely committed and protected way. But your true power comes from your ability to channel that passion into action, to pursue your gut instinct and make things happen. Your Pisces drive is precisely what your Scorpio’s unquenchable intensity needed: purpose and grounding. Therefore, you thrive in partnerships that are expansive and hopeful, driven by shared spiritual values and insatiable passion. You are most at ease and productive when there is mutual respect and constant exploration.
Saturn in Sagittarius
A person with their Scorpio and Saturn in Sagittarius would be a spy forced to go public. Your greatest impulse is to explore and metamorphose, to join with others on the most profound emotional level. But the great lesson of your life, delivered by Saturn, is to broaden your horizons and experience a deep transformation in your relationships. This combination sets up a compelling push-pull between your deep, private nature and an equally weighty requirement for empirical inquiry. Your Scorpio sun wants to move towards the truth of any given matter — locating authentic depths and unspoken ties. But your Saturn in Sagittarius wants you to learn that true safety comes from actively shedding a light on the shadowy corners of your loves. It makes you act from your core values, sometimes in ways that make us feel icky, and to set healthy borders so you can pour into others’ cups without draining your own. The struggle is in understanding how to be an emotionally powerful force, while being a strong and effective advocate for justice. This placement's real strength is in converting all that raw intensity of yours into a tangible benefit for society. You can be the quiet leader, one of the strong voices that brings harmony to your friends and allies and beyond. Your assignment is to leverage your incredible emotional dexterity, and create relationships and groups of people built on respect and trust. You’re uniquely qualified to walk the quagmire of complex emotional terrain and still draw an unwavering line in the sand where something is right or wrong.
Uranus in Aries
If you have your Sun in Scorpio and Uranus in Aries, you were a spy who needed to become the revolutionary leader. Your instincts to probe and transform, to combine with others on an intense emotional level, run deep. But the big lesson of your life, spoken to you by Uranus, is balance and structure and depth of change in relationships. This combination sets up a most interesting push-pull between your deeply private nature and a compelling need for impartial investigation. Your Scorpio sun needs to reach the heart of every situation, discovering truth in the shadows and silence. However, with your Uranus in Aries, you must learn that true security means making a conscious and often uncomfortable effort to uncover hidden truths about your relationships. It makes you defend what you believe is right, even when doing so is awkward, and draw lines in the sand so that you can give without losing yourself in the process. The task at hand is how to be a force both of emotional nature and an arbiter of justice. The power in this position is the ability to transform your emotional outburst into a steady undercurrent. You are and will be a leader, a passionate speaker of reason who will create balance within your social arena and beyond. Your job is to employ your vast emotional knowledge to foster alliances and societies where respect and trust are the bedrock. You will continue to dive into deep emotional depths and hold tight to a core of steel.robe of steel where your emotions are concerned. Your fulfilled life lies in mastering the art of fair partnership. Your impact on the world hinges on your ability to balance your empathic powers with that of retributive justice, proving that true greatness is not about what you feel but what you can create balanced and beautiful.
Neptune in Leo
An individual with a Scorpio sun and Neptune in Leo is an intense performer who will find meaning through learning to mold the world with art. Your character is profundity of depth, intensity, mysterian and desire to enter beneath veneer! This is also matched by Neptune's demand for an artistically-focused reality, but drama fueled sense of self and vision. When you combine the above, there is a dynamic tension between what you hunger for in power and a centuries’ old shunt toward creative revolution. This position in turn means: You’re not just a seeker; you’re a spiritual monarch. Your mission, including your emotional purpose as an artist and human being, is to bring your profoundest feelings to life in a way that young generations can see themselves through you. It needs to strike a balance between your intense nature and the need to communicate complicated ideas. The lesson of your life is to learn to have faith in your dream without being over-controlling or avoiding change the dream requires of you. Strength is in being able to harness your unrelenting intensity and create something beautiful that defies limits. The way forward to that fulfilled life is learning how to be a brave artist, not simply a potent one. That is the legacy that will outlast, not some new and improved (or worse) version of yourself. And once you learn to trust your vision, not only will your genius shine through others-readers, students, friends —will see it more clearly as a beacon guiding them to discover their own creative purpose.
Pluto in Cancer
Pluto is in Cancer and shines on your 9th house, Scorpio — the house of higher learning, travel, philosophy and beliefs. This is a journey that changes how you see the world — and your part in it. A sign that craves depth and truth, Pluto here forces you to expand your horizons in ways that feel fated — and life-altering. Some old ways of thinking may no longer apply. Whether it originated from family, culture or former experiences, Pluto will ask you to unpeel dogma and go in search of wisdom that resonates with the soul. It can be unnerving when the safety of your truths seem to be slipping away from you. But what’s really going on is that you are expanding: Pluto, in its relentless tearing-down mode, is removing illusions so that you can build a worldview that’s real and unshakable. You are drawn toward deep studies, meditation, spiritual practices or travel (concrete or metaphorical) that shift your view. Deeds of mentors, teachers or foreign cultures could feel karmic and open the door to deeper levels of understanding. As this journey ends, Scorpio, you will have a new lease on life. You will no longer be in the business of truth-seeking out of mere curiosity — you’ll be living it. This is about stepping into wisdom that empowers you, and which when shared impacts others.
