Victoria Woodhull Bio

Victoria Claflin Woodhull, later Victoria Woodhull Martin (September 23, 1838 – June 9, 1927) was an American leader of the woman's suffrage movement. In 1872, Woodhull ran for President of the United States. While many historians and authors agree that Woodhull was the first woman to run for President of the United States, some have questioned that priority given issues with the legality of her run. They disagree with classifying it as a true candidacy because she was younger than the constitutionally mandated age of 35. However, election coverage by contemporary newspapers does not suggest age was a significant issue. The presidential inauguration was in March 1873. Woodhull's 35th birthday was in September 1873. An activist for women's rights and labor reforms, Woodhull was also an advocate of free love, by which she meant the freedom to marry, divorce, and bear children without government interference. Woodhull twice went from rags to riches, her first fortune being made on the road as a highly successful magnetic healer before she joined the spiritualist movement in the 1870s. While authorship of many of her articles is disputed (many of her speeches on these topics were collaborations between Woodhull, her backers, and her second husband, Colonel James Blood), her role as a representative of these movements was powerful. Together with her sister, Tennessee Claflin, she was the first woman to operate a brokerage firm on Wall Street; they were among the first women to found a newspaper, Woodhull & Claflin's Weekly, which began publication in 1870. Woodhull was politically active in the early 1870s, when she was nominated as the first woman candidate for the United States presidency, for which she is best known. Woodhull was the candidate in 1872 from the Equal Rights Party, supporting women's suffrage and equal rights. Her arrest on obscenity charges a few days before the election, for publishing an account of the alleged adulterous affair between the prominent minister Henry Ward Beecher and Elizabeth Tilton, added to the sensational coverage of her candidacy. While she didn't receive any electoral votes, she did receive some popular votes. An unrelated man in Texas admitted to voting for her in 1872. He said he was casting his vote against Grant. Since votes cast for her appear to have not been counted, it can't be determined how many votes she received, but it was more than none. Biographer M.M. Marberry was wrong when he said she got 0 votes.

Moon in Scorpio

Sun in Libra

Asc in Virgo

Sun in Libra

They are inherently more flamboyant and self-assured when the sun is in their sign, Libra. There is some connection between them. Now is a chance to demonstrate charm, diplomacy, and social acumen. Don't miss this opportunity. Maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life is crucial, and fostering relationships is given more importance. They must strike a balance between their desire to be in a relationship and their ability to see themself as an individual due to Libra's influence. They may feel that they need to make more deliberate decisions and establish more defined boundaries, despite their propensity to view things from various perspectives. Take advantage of this opportunity to reflect on their uniqueness and the ways they contribute to their relationships. Additionally, this paragraph encourages the reader to express themselves more personally through their artistic endeavors. Regardless of the industry they work in—fashion, art, or communication—they will notice a difference in their appearance and level of attention to detail. To improve their mood and the surroundings, they may feel that they need to make improvements to their house, purchase attractive items, or take other actions.

Moon in Scorpio

When the emotional core of a Libra solar, which is elegant and seeks harmony, finds its emotional center in the deep and mysterious seas of a Scorpio moon, the person is a person of great appeal and profound depth. This results from the Libra sun's propensity to actively pursue harmony. Their inner world is characterized by a deep undercurrent of intense emotions that can often become obsessive, while their outer self is excited about bringing harmony, beauty, and balance to everything. This is due to the fact that their inner world frequently becomes fixated on objects. These feelings are hidden deep beneath the surface. Some people may perceive this dynamic as an ongoing internal tug-of-war. Their Scorpio moon pulls them into a world of complicated and often overwhelming emotions that require them to fully explore them, while their Libra sun helps them stay composed and avoid conflict. A person may appear to be cool under pressure, but they may be dealing with strong emotions on the inside. That specific set of circumstances may be the cause of this. Their ability to absorb and firmly hold onto emotions is probably going to clash with their desire for social harmony. This is a result of your capacity to take in and hold onto emotions. It's not just about how you feel. The first step to inner peace is the ability to believe that their overwhelming feelings are a source of strength rather than a force to be feared. They need to develop this skill if they want to find inner peace. If they are open to the transformational power of their own emotions, they can create a life that is not only aesthetically beautiful but also has a lot of meaning for them.

Mercury in Virgo

Libra Sun Mercury in Virgo When the harmony-loving, graceful Libra Sun comes into the thoughtful, analytical sphere of Mercury in Virgo you get someone who seeks justice not just with charm but with an awesome intellectual and adaptable mind. The inner you can be deeply sensitive, emotional and sometimes harsh, while on the outside you are drawn to creating balance, peace and beauty in everything that surrounds you.
It’s a dynamic that makes for pleasingly effective symbiosis. Your Libra sun would like to maintain peace, not to fight. But your Mercury in Virgo tugs you toward a world of practicality, scrutiny, and seeking a truer truth. This enables you to lead, but not just lead – lead with a greater sense of purpose. You could be that diplomatic presence one second and then back down to earth with an analytical force the next.
The true strength of this conjunction is your power to unite heart and mind. And your Virgo brain makes sure your Libra’s social graces have purpose and direction. You’re not just a convivial raconteur; you are an amazing transformative force of vitality in this universe who has with your own boundless power taken up the reigns of challenge and directed humanity on the last leg of its journey toward heroic glory. The grounded determination of the Virgo serves as a moral compass for your patient resolve, and together you become a force for justice and truth.

Venus in Virgo

When the graceful, harmony-loving sun enters the detail-obsessed, service-oriented domain of Venus in Virgo, you are someone who’s longing for equilibrium is colored by a deep vein of practicality and concern. Your outer self wants to harmonize and paint pretty pictures over everything, but your Inner world of relationships runs from tangible safety and nuts-and-bolts security.
That’s a dynamic that makes for such an elegant, enticing pull. Your Libra sun is trying to keep the peace and find a perfect partner. But your Venus in Virgo is drawing you toward a world of service, stable foundations and the desire to build a life of creature comfort. This gives you the ability to not only experience intimacy at an intellectual level but, also materialize your love in a way that is incredibly grounding, faithful and tangible.
The magic of that combination is you know how to love with soft hands, and a willing heart. Your Virgo heart provides your Libra with a base of support, infusing you with the ability to naturally nurture and actually manifest their ideas. You find yourself attracted towards relationships that are safe and secure, that embody emotional security and a strong sense of loyalty; with love flowing in an environment that allows mutual respect and admiration.

Mars in Leo

As the graceful Libra sun meets forces with a drive force of proud creation, Mars in Leo, your every move is an intellectual harmony mixed beautifully with drama queen self-expression. Your surface persona needs to make everything peaceful and beautiful, but underneath you long for admiration and romance in a commanding way where you can be completely confident about acvhieving your desires.
This is a lovely and fascinating pull. Your Libra sun craves peace and perfection in partnership. But with your Mars in Leo, you’re drawn toward a realm of dramatic expression, bold moves and an unquenchable thirst to be the star. Which makes it possible for you to not only feel all of human connection’s intellectual depths, but also share your energy in a manner that is absolutely adaptive, intelligent and revolutionary.
Cancer, your real strength in this conjunction is that you are able to go with your gut and truly get out there and make it happen without being loud about it. Your Libra’s social grace gets a depth of purpose and passionate basis from your Leo drive. You’re attracted to relationships that feel like they will allow you to grow and hope-filled, based in common spiritual beliefs and a dragon-like devotion. Your energy flourishes in a world of respect, and daily adventure.

Jupiter in Virgo

As the graceful, harmony-seeking Libra sun’s luck and expansion plays out in precision-obsessed Jupiter in Virgo's realm, your primal urge to expand is translated into intellectual pragmatism and an over-the-top ability to communicate confidently. Your persona enjoys making peace and love with all things, yet your inner motivating force is an intense longing for order, perfection and practical, grounded ways to manifest growth.
This tension makes for a beautiful and gripping pull. Your Libra sun is all about maintaining the peace, and seeking a soulmate. But with Jupiter in Virgo, you’re tugged toward a universe filled with deep intensity, transformative aims and relentless journeys to the very center of it all. You can then feel not only the intellectual profoundness of the human experience, but your energy can show up in a manner that is extremely flexible, highly intelligent and forward-looking.
What allows you to mobilize the energy of this combination, however, is your fearlessness in following your instincts and doing what it takes to get the job done with a tempered forcefulness. Your Virgo push provides a deeper drive for your Libra's social ease and grace, and gives it purpose, passion. You’re attracted to relationships that feel expansive and hopeful, rooted in shared spiritual ideals and a fierce loyalty. Your energy likes to exist in a climate of mutual respect and discovery.

Saturn in Scorpio

But imagine a diplomat who suddenly had to become a crisis negotiator – that’s a person with their Libra sun and a Saturn in Scorpio. Your deepest instincts are to create harmony, beauty, and peaceful relationships. But your life’s great lesson, delivered by Saturn, is to delve in the depths and find a profound transformation involved. Your Libra sun literally dreams about quiet life where everyone gets along. It’s the symbol of balance, beauty, and mutual understanding. However, Saturn in Scorpio tells that it’s not going to happen without the rest. You have to stand up for uncomfortable truths and establish the boundaries that will help you remain yourself while giving others what they want from you. You must always balance your need for fairness and decency against your willingness to stand up to justice. That’s tough, the stars say. The best message that lies in maintaining is the fact that if you manage it every time at once, you’ll create not just ideal partners but advocates for everything good in the world.

Uranus in Pisces

There is, in a person with their Libra sun and a Uranus in Pisces, the heart of a diplomat but the mission of a visionary artist. Your intuition is to create harmony, beauty, and harmonious relationships. However, the great lesson of your life, taught to you by Uranus, is to create order, discipline, and radical about-face in your relationships. This combination involves a fascinating tug of war between your diplomatic instincts and your need for objectivity. Your Libra sun craves a life of harmony and beauty, terrified of conflict. However, the Uranus in Pisces is here to demonstrate that the only way to have true peace and harmony is to tackle the unsettling truths in your relationships. It will make you squirm in your chair and compel you to take a stand, to safeguard yourself, and then offer to others. You must learn to be an assertive and supportive companion at the same time. It is your true calling to transform your raw grace into a focused, obvious instrument for change. You may be a compelling voice for change, a public figure who harmonizes the on over you. You must engage your emotional intelligence to create and maintain communities based on respect and mutual understanding. You may be a source of calm in a chaotic world.

Neptune in Aquarius

One with a Libra Sun and Neptune in Aquarius is a charismatic dreamer who develops the art of reconciling the group mind. At root, your own deepest instincts are to know how to create balance, beauty and peace in relationships. But your great lesson, overseen by Neptune, is to leverage this sense of fairness as a force in the collective evolution. This duality makes for an interesting push and pull between your desire to partner up, intimate style, on the one hand, and a strong tug toward public (even revolutionary) change.
Your Libra sun craves harmony in one-on-one connections, so you can indulge your sense of right and wrong without fighting to get there. But your Neptune in Aquarius is here to teach you the lesson that real harmony exists not just for yourself, but for a cause bigger than yourself. It urges you to help the little guy and to turn your passion for good into a weapon of social justice. The trick is to be both a good partner and an audacious architect of a better future.
The real power of this transit is that you can get behind the collective, champion its causes and bring that vision into some sort of form. You alone have the power to construct new systems of justice and shared purpose. And your task is to wield that merciless and messianic vision to propel movements and communities of innovation, greatness, and shared destiny.
Your way to live a complete life is just the distance of your personal wisdom from universal meaning. History will not remember you for how you felt, but for the real human future that you helped create for all.

Pluto in Aries

Pluto in Aries on the day that Pluto enters Aries it will be filling your 7th house and this is the house of partnerships, marriage and one-on-one connections. Relationships are everything, to you. You thrive on balance, harmony, and connection – but Pluto in Aries has no care for superficial peace. This transit lances through straight to the heart of your most direct connections, slicing off illusions and demanding that you look the power dynamics square in the face.
For some Libras, this may result in taking a relationship to a depth of gut-wrenching honesty and passion that you have never experienced before. For others, it may spell the end where things have gotten imbalanced or unhealthy. But either way, Pluto doesn’t let you settle. If you’ve been doing more giving than getting, avoiding conflict or remaining partners just for the sake of harmony, that’s when the truth emerges.
This house also rules business partnerships, friendships and even your adversaries so be prepared to face some influential people that encourage you to become better. Sometimes they’ll feel like mirrors, reflecting back the parts of yourself you’ve been too terrified to own.
At the end of this transit, Libra, you’ll have a whole new relationship with relationships. You’ll learn your limits, value and power in partnership like never before. It’s no longer just about finding balance — it’s about finding partnerships that allow you to embrace everything and everyone, without apologies.

Sun in Virgo 29°57’

Distinctive feature of people born under the sign of Virgo is their sense for order and system. They are practical people with great design and manual skills. They are always able to fully concentrate on their tasks. They tend to be charmed by well thought-through and functioning systems and they try to ensure that everything around them has been properly arranged, because order makes work easier and faster. This characteristic can change into pedantry if their sun is badly illuminated by planets.

These people also like to have order in their relationships because they like to have everything clear. They control their attitudes with their mind, which they also use to control their feelings. They are not heartless; they are careful not to get involved in relationships that are not worth the effort. They are reliable people, who have a strong sense for duty. They are very intelligent, capable of great concentration and businesslike, and these characteristics are the prerequisite for exceptional results in completing artistic and scientific tasks.

Their work achievements are the result of thoroughly thought-through methods and also because they never let others disturb them when they concentrate on work. They chase away anybody who tries to distract them.

They will quickly and insightfully understand and evaluate the motives of other people and they will just as quickly realise how to react and what to do. These people do not only thoroughly think through their work and tasks, but also every life situation, the consequences of their decisions and every possible future action. They do so because they want to avoid all risks and adverse coincidences.

They are cautious and conservative, and they are guided by the principles which they have set. People born under the sign of Virgo do not like to show off and their personality is built on reasoning, which is reflected reserved behaviour, discreet clothing and practically furnished home which can be kept clean and tidy without too much effort.

Although these people are easily offended, they often criticise others. Those who want to get along with them should realise that their demands for order and honesty are legitimate and that they never hurt anybody.

Moon in Scorpio 20°06’

Moon in Scorpio creates the need to delve into your feelings as deep as possible and this brings great vulnerability. You never forget anything that was done to you. It's hard to force you to do anything. Rarely, it is possible to influence you with kindness. You need a deep emotional relationship, even if it is not easy and you are forced to change many things. Shallow relationships do not satisfy you, because they are not purifying enough. You have an unmistakable ability to detect the emotional state of others, even if they try to hide it. This gives you the ability to very effectively hurt or heal others. Your emotions can be extreme, from sympathy to contempt, from passion to coldness. It is necessary to get rid of the fear of betrayal, abandonment, and that you lose what you love. If you do not get rid of your fear, you will lose exactly the things you are afraid of loosing.

Ascendant in Virgo 28°28’

Ascendant (Rising Sign)

People with Virgo Ascendant develop the best through spiritual analysis, discernment and self-criticism. Application of knowledge must be appropriate and consider the benefits that it brings - it must be beneficial to the public. The focus is interest in body and health. It is necessary to carefully select negative experiences in the person´s mind and get rid of them. Beware of obsession with neatness, precision and perfection because the person loses his natural spontaneity.

Pisces Descendant - Partners & Compatibility
Pisces on the Descendant bring you this message: relax, allow things to happen and have fun from time to time. In a relationship, it is necessary to learn to give up something and also to accept something. You must learn to forgive and to open your arms and offer a hug.

If your partner seems useless, unreliable and listless then you should get rid of your criticism and vigilance and learn to understand that there are things between heaven and earth that cannot be measured, classified and validated. If you feel that your partner always needs care and supervision, it is perhaps because you put him in this role. Let go of things and you will see that he is capable of much more then you think.
