Vincent van Gogh Bio
("Van Gogh" redirects here. For other uses, see Van Gogh (disambiguation).) Vincent Willem van Gogh (Dutch: [ˈvɪnsɛnt ˈʋɪləm vɑn ˈɣɔx] ; 30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he created about 2100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. They include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are characterised by bold, symbolic colours, and dramatic, impulsive and highly expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of modern art. He sold only one painting during his lifetime and became famous after his suicide at age 37, which followed years of poverty and mental illness. Born into an upper-middle-class family, Van Gogh drew as a child and was serious, quiet and thoughtful, but showed signs of mental instability. As a young man he worked as an art dealer, often travelling, but became depressed after he was transferred to London. He turned to religion, and spent time as a missionary in southern Belgium. Later he drifted in ill health and solitude. He was keenly aware of modernist trends in art and, while back with his parents, took up painting in 1881. His younger brother, Theo, supported him financially, and the two kept up a long correspondence by letter. Van Gogh's early works, mostly still lifes and depictions of peasant labourers, contain few signs of the vivid colour that distinguished his later work. In 1886 he moved to Paris and became interested in the French Impressionists. As his work developed he created a new approach to still lifes and local landscapes. His paintings grew brighter in colour as he developed a style that became fully realised during his stay in Arles in the south of France in 1888. He lived there in the Yellow House and, with the French artist Paul Gauguin, developed a concept of colour that symbolised inner emotion. During this period he broadened his subject matter to include olive trees, cypresses, wheat fields and sunflowers. Van Gogh suffered from psychotic episodes and delusions and, though he worried about his mental stability, he often neglected his physical health, not eating properly and drinking heavily. His friendship with Gauguin came to an end after he threatened the Frenchman with a razor, and in a rage, cut off part of his own left ear. While in a psychiatric hospital in Saint-Rémy his condition stabilised, leading to one of the more productive periods of his life. He moved to the Auberge Ravoux in Auvers-sur-Oise near Paris under the care of the homeopathic doctor and artist, Paul Gachet. On 27 July 1890, Van Gogh shot himself in the chest with a revolver. He died from his injuries two days later. Considered a madman and a failure in his lifetime, Van Gogh exists in the public imagination as the quintessential misunderstood genius, the artist "where discourses on madness and creativity converge". His reputation began to grow in the early 20th century as elements of his painting style came to be incorporated by the Fauves and German Expressionists. He attained widespread critical, commercial and popular success over the ensuing decades, and is remembered as an important but tragic painter, whose troubled personality typifies the romantic ideal of the tortured artist.

Sun in Aries
When the Sun moves back into the sign of Aries, it seems as if it is returning home. Their natural drive, self-confidence, and vitality are all brought back to them as a consequence of this. The capacity to express oneself, the chance to start anew, and the ability to be independent are all things that are highly appreciated in this location, according to you. This is a person whose personality is tough to predict because of who you are. Immediately, you can experience a sense of compulsion to take action, take a gamble, or strive toward objectives that are in line with their aspirations. During the time that the Sun is in the sign of Aries, their objectives are brought to light, and they are given the confidence to work toward achieving them as quickly as possible. Honesty, openness, and passion are characteristics that are associated with relationships while the Sun is in the sign of Aries. The fact that the Sun is located in the constellation of Aries is the reason for this phenomenon. There is a possibility that they will be more inclined to communicate your requirements and anticipate that others would similarly do the same. In spite of the fact that they are a highly independent person, a transit will make it abundantly evident how essential it is to cultivate connections with others who understand and appreciate their independence.
Moon in Sagittarius
They are extremely driven and resolved to accomplish specific goals when the fiery and courageous sun of Aries collides with the emotional core of the moon of Sagittarius in the vast and courageous cosmos. They are the type of person who is prepared to face any challenge life may present. They come across as a self-assured, courageous, and natural leader. In contrast, their inner self is a passionate, free-spirited force that requires either a big truth or a big adventure to feel at peace. These power dynamics create a powerful and lovely synergy when they cooperate. Their Aries sun encourages them to be bold, assertive, and independent. The Sagittarius moon, on the other hand, advises to seek out a more cerebral and adventure-focused world and endeavor to discover greater purpose in their life. As a result, they can proceed with a more significant and optimistic goal. At any time, they can transition from being busy to offering sage and compelling counsel. Their high level of self-confidence makes this combination extremely potent. They were born under the Sagittarius moon, which gives the impetuous Aries sun a broad perspective on life and a strong sense of faith. They are a strong and transformative force that can motivate others and effect long-lasting change, making more than just a leader due to the quality of work. The Sagittarius' idealism will give their strong drive a moral compass, and they will be a force for justice and truth.
Mercury in Aries
They have unwavering self-confidence and a spirit that is truly limitless when the fiery and brave sun of Aries is balanced with the bold and impetuous influence of Mercury in Aries. Their whole being is a potent source of energy, and they have faith in the vision they have for themself. According to zodiac sign, they are among the most motivated and focused people. This is because of their double-fire location. Their ability to control their thoughts and behave appropriately may be seen as both a strength and a weakness, depending on your perspective. They are a very loyal and protective person who will do whatever it takes to keep the people they care about safe. They are an intensely protective and devoted individual with a strong emotional bond that feeds into their need for dominance. One of the first steps to achieving inner peace is being aware of and accepting of how their emotions affect them. If they can find healthy ways to express the intensity feel, whether it be through art, a creative outlet, or a strong, reliable relationship with a loved one, they may be able to learn how to navigate the depths without being overwhelmed by them. By exploring constructive ways to communicate feelings, they can achieve this objective. They need to learn how to express the deep emotions they are feeling in order to safeguard their mental health and to make the most of their unique ability to heal and connect with others in a way that very few people can.
Venus in Pisces
With the bold, fiery Aries sun finding its heart center in the deeply romantic, sensitive waters of Venus in Pisces, you are someone whose passions have been slightly dulled with a layer of deep empathy. Your externally focused self craves a dynamic, action filled relationship; yet inside, what truly nurtures you is depths of tenderness and context of pure support. That's a dynamic that creates an attractive and interesting pull. Your Aries sun needs to be the hero, take charge and get out in front when it comes to love. But your Venus in Pisces is dragging you toward a world full of magical, spiritual connections and a love that is far from the norm. You get to not only tap into the molten crust of human connection but also love with an empathy, understanding and romantic flair that is intensely satisfying. What makes this blend so potent is your capacity to love with both boldness and tenderness. The Pisces heart gives your Aries’s relentless drive a deeper, more empathetic reason for being, and you become a champion for the underdog and later in life, someone whose understanding knows no limits without feeling smothering. You are magnetized to collaborations that seem mystical, founded on identical dreams and an unspoken link, and your love grows in spaces of giving as good as you get.
Mars in Pisces
With the audacious, fiery Aries sun fueling creative forces from Pisces this month, your actions are a synthesis of raw assertion and spiritual compassion. Your external loves to pursue, be bold and take charge in a bold way… while what drives you on the inside is a deep longing for creativity and spiritual union with others. This is the dynamic of an amazing, intriguing pull. Your Aries sun needs to be the hero, charging forward and conquering. But your Mars in Pisces drags you into a realm of compassionate doing, creative making and an eternal search for personal freedom. This in turn helps you not just get right down into the flames of human contact, but at the same time you express this energy so cold, unemotional and rational it’s worse than ever. Therein lies the mighty strength of this cycle: You can love with both a tender heart and a protective touch. Your Pisces drive gives your Aries one something to channel endless energy into and a humanitarian base. You find connection in relationships that are spacious and optimistic, inspired by mutual interests and a fierce commitment. Your energy is best in a partnership of equals where there remains always something new to discover.
Jupiter in Sagittarius
As the adventurous, confident sun in Aries takes a sweet look at lucky Jupiter, which is currently wandering freely through its home sign of Sagittarius, your natural feelings of expansion and growth are tinged with an intellectual assertiveness and unbridled sense of adventure; think sky’s the limit! Part of you loves to be the boss, to take initiative with bold force and determination, yet inside your world of motivation is led by a deep yearning for truth and freedom through progressive action - dynamic expansion. This tension, it creates a beautiful and sexy pull. Your Aries sun wants to lead, to rush in and triumph. But your Jupiter in Sagittarius tugs you toward a life of deep passion, transformational objectives and a tireless search to get to the bottom of it all. You get to feel the burning passions between human beings and you can express yourself with an energy to be absolutely counted on, defended and trusted. Ability to make things happen with a quiet determination, relying on instincts; the true strength of this union. Your Sagittarius drive makes sure your Aries’s incredible energy has deep roots and a spiritual mission. You’re attracted to associations that seem lofty and hopeful, based on mutual spiritual beliefs and a stubborn loyalty. Your creativity flourishes in a space of shared respect, and a continual exploration.
Saturn in Taurus
Where your ambitious, fiery Aries sun meets its big life lesson in Saturn’s slow and steady terrain of Taurus, you get a sense of maission in life, but also a deep need for roots and stability. It’s just that your ego thrives on blazing trails, on being the first one in – but deep down you harbor a lot of raw need for earthy material security and sensibility upon which to act and create with certainty. This tension, in turn, is responsible for a beautiful and fascinating pull. Your Aries sun is itching to go charging in and be your own hero. But your Saturn in Taurus draws you toward an environment of tangible goals, practical action and a relentless pursuit for the core of it all. That enables you to experience the volcanic layers of human bonding and yet contribute your energy in a manner that is very solid, defensive, loyal. The key to this combination is that you trust your instincts and can advance with a sense of dogged determination. You Taurus drive brings a wonderful sense of purpose and grounding to your Aries boundless energy. You may be attracted to partnerships that seem expansive and optimistic, ones founded on shared spiritual beliefs and a fierce-loyal dedication. Your energy does well in an environment of mutual respect and something new.
Uranus in Taurus
With your Aries sun and a Uranus in Taurus, you are like an audacious adventurer who must turn into a grounded visionary. The most profound drive is to act first, with audacity to go head-first with courage and a need for instant determination. Your life’s difficult lesson, directed by Uranus, is in creating order, organization, and a fundamental change in your primary relationships. There is an exciting, room-and-tug of war between your authoritarian, single-minded nature and your essential urge to conduct impartial research. In other words, your Aries sun prefers to be a pioneer, a courageous leader who never settles for anything but victory in a direct confrontation. Your Uranus in Taurus, however, is determined to oppose this, which would delight you greatly. Previous forces you into the ring to fight for fairness, no matter how tough the road. And there is great value in doing so as long as you can leverage the placement to shape your unprompted bravery into a focused and public vehicle of good. You can be a silent hero, a mighty voice that helps bring peace to your community and beyond. It is now your job to harness your bitchy powers for good: to cultivate respectful, trusting relationships and communities through the power of their intense assertiveness. You are the very best people at navigating complicated emotional territory, while also drawing a hard line in the sand for what you know is right. The way to have a life that pleases you is by learning the art of the fair partnership. Your legacy will be the story of joining instinct and evidence with fierce love and straight-up righteousness, showing that real power isn’t in what you feel but in the way you crosscut all your glories and terrors into ties that are both accountable and lovely.
Neptune in Pisces
Sun in Aries and Neptune in Pisces make you a visionary trailblazer, pushing you to realize your dreams. Your identifier is your bravery and courage, always willing to blaze new trials. This is enhanced by Neptune sitting in its home sign, granting you an intuitive and spiritual depth. You feel a dynamic push-and-pull between your need for direct action and a subconscious pull towards the artistic and mystical. However, you are not just a leader; you are an inspired leader. Your mission is to act on your wildest gut instincts and to be an unmovable proponent of a cause linked to your soul. The difficulty is in combining the intense fire of your sun sign with the intense sensitivity of your moon sign. Your lifetime goal is to trust your intuition without losing your drive. Without focus, your instinctual understanding can lead you down unwise paths or into a world of illusion. You’re great at wrestling a warrior and creating lovely things out of it for others to enjoy. The way to your soul’s genuine fulfillment is to try and be an artist and brave heart for the collective. Your memory won’t only be based on your personal accomplishments but also on the incredible, loving things you have done for the world. Your bizarre life gift of comprehension will not only glow but also guide others toward their own comprehensive purpose.
Pluto in Taurus
When Pluto enters Taurus, it rattles your 2nd house, Aries — the area of your chart connected to cash, stuff, and self-worth. For a fire sign like you, this is a move from action and conquest into grounding and constructing. This is not about how fast you can move now, but what you can continue for the long term. And with Pluto in this playing field, you’re about to experience a total makeover on how you earn, spend and value yourself. Initially, this might manifest as financial stress — variations in income, unexpected expenses or power struggles revolving around resources. You may be challenged to confront habits around money that aren’t serving you any longer: overspending, undervaluing your work or depending too heavily on others. But the aim of Pluto isn’t to take away — but instead, to remake better. This is about how to build unshakable stability, and align your financial prowess with your true potency". On a deeper level, your 2nd house isn’t just about money — it’s about worth. Pluto in Taurus is here to remind you that your worth does not come from movement or external approval precisely because it comes from what you’re made of inside. You’re learning to invest in yourself, to charge your value, and say no when that’s not met.

Sun in Aries 9°39’
The ruler of Aries is the planet Mars, which symbolises energy, health, fighting spirit and leadership skills. People born under this sign are courageous and decisive in most situations in life. They do any work with enthusiasm and confidence in their abilities, but they often lack deliberation and patience.
Aries are friendly and merry people who have a strong sense for fair play. They are good colleagues, because they have many good ideas that they do not manage to realize themselves, but their enthusiasm helps engage others in realising their ideas together with them. If they are in a managerial position they are fair bosses but it is hard for them to accept lazy and clumsy work partners. They solve mutual problems quickly, sharply and uncompromisingly. These people cannot stand if somebody tells them what to do or gives them orders and they want to keep their freedom and independence at any cost. Their courage is incredible, but it stems from confidence they gained by their performance.
They have great enthusiasm and desire to always try new things, and they are creative and intelligent enough to handle even the most difficult tasks. These people can do any jobs that require a quick and sharp decision-making and a great responsibility. They are open and straightforward when they deal with people, but they can also be diplomatic and tactful. Their sense of humour helps them to be successful in their social circles. They use their extra energy to play sport and they especially like risky and physically demanding types of sport activities. They are physically very talented and courageous and that is the reason why such a high percentage of top athletes were born under this zodiac sign. Planet Mars makes them into people who can impose their will, fight for their opinion and stand up for themselves. If they fail, they can get irritated and angry, but their emotions do not last long, because in their essence they are not bad people and it will waste their time. Their occasional impatience is their stumbling block. They should therefore choose friends who they know well and who they trust, so that they will accept their advice and who will slow down and rectify their hastiness. Despite these shortcomings they are people with integrity who like to keep their promises.
Moon in Sagittarius 20°43’
The greatest need is to always search for something. In order to feel safe you need a philosophy or belief. You need to have a goal or mission that gives your life meaning. Your faith must be voluntary and it is a paradox that fighting against dogmas may lead you to other dogmas. You also need activity, whether it is travelling or sports. Your love for horses, dogs or other animals is also important. You have an optimistic approach to life and you believe that things will get better even if you get into trouble. You might have the nature of a gambler and you have the need to take risks when you want to achieve something. Your innate spontaneity and openness is very refreshing for people around you. You may be full of optimism in the company of others, but when you are alone you may sometimes feel emptiness.
Ascendant in Cancer 21°05’
Ascendant (Rising Sign)
With Cancer Ascendant, you need to develop and refine your emotional life. Some people are so emotionally vulnerable that they form a shell around them to protect their soul. The challenge is to find a way to use your sensitivity in order to ensure that you are not overburdened with it. Cancer Ascendant can also be very surprised by how many emotions are hidden underneath his calm and cool appearance. You should learn to live in accordance with your internal and organic rhythms and currents. Governed by feelings, Cancer Ascendant cannot be convinced by explanations and logical arguments.
Capricorn Descendant - Partners & Compatibility If you want to stay in your relationship, you should learn to distinguish which emotions are healthy and reasonable, and which should be controlled or dampen. Capricorn Descendant searches for partners that are secured, strong and stable. In time you should find these qualities within yourself and not expect to get them from others.
If Cancer is on the Ascendant, your partner can be older and more mature, but may seem to you cold or calculating. You must break out of your child role; learn to be objective, serious and plain in order to feel more confident and secure. You should accept certain restrictions in a relationship and have a solid, reliable attitude towards your partner.
