Willie Nelson Bio

Willie Hugh Nelson (born April 29, 1933) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, author, poet, actor, and activist. The critical success of the album Shotgun Willie (1973), combined with the critical and commercial success of Red Headed Stranger (1975) and Stardust (1978), made Nelson one of the most recognized artists in country music. He was one of the main figures of outlaw country, a subgenre of country music that developed in the late 1960s as a reaction to the conservative restrictions of the Nashville sound. Nelson has acted in over 30 films, co-authored several books, and has been involved in activism for the use of biofuels and the legalization of marijuana. Born during the Great Depression, and raised by his grandparents, Nelson wrote his first song at age seven and joined his first band at ten. During high school, he toured locally with the Bohemian Polka as their lead singer and guitar player. After graduating from high school in 1950, he joined the Air Force but was later discharged due to back problems. After his return, Nelson attended Baylor University for two years but dropped out because he was succeeding in music. During this time, he worked as a disc jockey in Texas radio stations and a singer in Honky-tonks. Nelson moved to Vancouver, Washington, where he wrote "Family Bible" and recorded the song "Lumberjack" in 1956. In 1958, he moved to Houston, Texas after signing a contract with D Records. He sang at the Esquire Ballroom weekly and he worked as a disk jockey. During that time, he wrote songs that would become country standards, including "Funny How Time Slips Away", "Hello Walls", "Pretty Paper", and "Crazy". In 1960 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and later signed a publishing contract with Pamper Music which allowed him to join Ray Price's band as a bassist. In 1962, he recorded his first album, ...And Then I Wrote. Due to this success, Nelson signed in 1964 with RCA Victor and joined the Grand Ole Opry the following year. After mid-chart hits in the late 1960s and the early 1970s, Nelson retired in 1972 and moved to Austin, Texas. The ongoing music scene of Austin motivated Nelson to return from retirement, performing frequently at the Armadillo World Headquarters. In 1973, after signing with Atlantic Records, Nelson turned to outlaw country, including albums such as Shotgun Willie and Phases and Stages. In 1975, he switched to Columbia Records, where he recorded the critically acclaimed album, Red Headed Stranger. The same year, he recorded another outlaw country album, Wanted! The Outlaws, along with Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, and Tompall Glaser. During the mid-1980s, while creating hit albums like Honeysuckle Rose and recording hit songs like "On the Road Again", "To All the Girls I've Loved Before", and "Pancho and Lefty", he joined the country supergroup The Highwaymen, along with fellow singers Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. In 1990, Nelson's assets were seized by the Internal Revenue Service, which claimed that he owed US$32 million. The difficulty of paying his outstanding debt was aggravated by weak investments he had made during the 1980s. In 1992, Nelson released The IRS Tapes: Who'll Buy My Memories?; the profits of the double album—destined to the IRS—and the auction of Nelson's assets cleared his debt. During the 1990s and 2000s, Nelson continued touring extensively, and released albums every year. Reviews ranged from positive to mixed. He explored genres such as reggae, blues, jazz, and folk. Nelson made his first movie appearance in the 1979 film The Electric Horseman, followed by other appearances in movies and on television. Nelson is a major liberal activist and the co-chair of the advisory board of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), which is in favor of marijuana legalization. On the environmental front, Nelson owns the bio-diesel brand Willie Nelson Biodiesel, which is made from vegetable oil. Nelson is also the honorary chairman of the Advisory Board of the Texas Music Project, the official music charity of the state of Texas.

Sun in Taurus

Asc in Capricorn

Sun in Taurus

Because the Sun has returned to Taurus, they are about to experience a time of power and renewal that is heading their way. Since the energy of Taurus, which is known for being stable and rooted, is being brought out and enhanced at this time, it is time for them to shine. Taurus is a sign that is regarded to be grounded and solid. A better sense of connection to their core ideas, their own self, and the things that offer they serenity and stability is something that they could experience as a result of this. They will be urged to strengthen their innate patience and endurance, as well as their capacity to find joy in the seemingly small things of life that are still significant, as a result of this transit. In most cases, at this time, their attention shifts to the things that are actually essential to them, such as the accomplishment of their own personal goals, the satisfaction of their comfort, and the guarantee of their safety. There is no better time than the present to strengthen the foundations of their personal life, their professional life, or their financial circumstances. During the time that the Sun is in your sign, it acts as a reminder that adhering to a plan is crucial to attaining success over the long term, and it motivates them to keep working toward reaching the goals that they have set for themself. If they design things in a manner that is both planned and cautious, there is a greater likelihood that they will achieve success. Because of this, rather of only beginning change, they will be able to turn their goals into something that is substantial and will last for a long time.

Moon in Gemini

They have a unique combination of being grounded in reality and having a strong desire to learn more because they are a Taurus and the Moon is in Gemini. Comfort, patience, and the capacity to reassure others are highly valued traits of Tauruses. Gemini and the Moon are in charge of their emotional inner world. It is inquisitive, loves to talk, and is constantly looking for and hearing new information. This combination might produce a strong internal dynamic. Their Taurus side likes a safe and reliable routine, while their Gemini Moon is constantly searching for new activities and is never satisfied. If they feel as though they are being pulled in two different directions, they may become very patient and a little confused about their feelings. Their mind is constantly attempting to determine how they are feeling, even if they seem composed and uninterested. All things considered, this mixture is also very powerful. Their Gemini Moon gives them a mental outlet that they really need and that will help their Taurus personality grow. In addition to their construction skills, they are an inquisitive learner who can adapt to various situations while on the go. Their proficiency and dependability are demonstrated by ability to think quickly without losing patience.

Mercury in Aries

Because the grounded and tranquil Taurus sun finds its wits in the fiery and impetuous world of Mercury in Aries, they are a very practical person with a startlingly direct communication style. This is because they are a Taurus. Their inner world functions swiftly, decisively, and occasionally bluntly, in contrast to the composed, methodical, stability-focused exterior self present to the outside world. A strong and lovely synergy is produced as a result of this interaction. Their Taurus sun has a strong desire to live in a comfortable and secure home. Conversely, Mercury in the sign of Aries guides toward an active world, audacious concepts, and an exploration of the truth. This allows to express themself with a more profound and significant purpose and to build a comfortable life for themself. They could be a forceful presence one minute and a grounded one the next. What truly makes this combination potent is their capacity to bring their heart and mind into harmony. Their practical Taurus has a strong sense of purpose and a clear vision for the future because Aries is the sign that dominates thoughts. Being a powerful and transforming force, they have the ability to motivate people and use their words to create steady, long-lasting change. They are not merely a constant presence. Their moral compass and perseverance enable to become a force for justice and truth, thanks to the fire spirit of the Aries.

Venus in Taurus

With the grounded, patient Taurus sun finding its ruling powers in the deeply sensual, stable realm of Venus in Taurus, you’re a human who’s very existence is an expression of pure lasting pleasure. Your love, and the relationship you each create everywhere you go together, will provide a shelter and grounding like nothing else in all of existence.
This double-earth placement has made you one of the most focused and action-oriented people in the zodiac. It’s not that you feel love, but that you are love. You have an unwavering confidence in what you see and are fiercely loyal and protective of the ones you love. For you, love is not limited to one person; it’s a love for all of mankind and you are attracted to the enchantment and spirituality of each connection.
But such colossal power does not come without its challenges. The double Taurus can make you extremely dramatic and defensive as well – you might bury your emotions deep down in an attempt to protect that sensitive, vulnerable internal self. You could experience a need for emotional discipline if the heat of your feelings is too much to bear. The world can be a lot to take in, and when you’re emotionally drained, it’s easy to become burned out.

Mars in Virgo

These days, when the down-to-earth Taurus sun trines driven Mars in Virgo’s meticulous service-obsessed sector, your moves greatly resemble practical comfort with a side of practical perfection. Your external self longs for ease, comfort and a settled existence in all things - AKA vanilla - but within the depths of your subconscious, lies a skill set with focus and purpose attached to it that seeks control and fulfillment from being effective problem-solvers.
This makes for a beautiful and intriguing tug. Your Taurus sun is looking to construct a secure and comfortable life. But Mars in Virgo tugs you inward to a universe of attainable perfection, levels of practicality, and an eternal search for improvement. That way, you can experience the sensual aspect of a human bond while expressing your power in a manner that's powerfully reliable, protective and loyal to the core.
The magic of this pairing is that you share similar instincts and have the power to make things happen with subtle determination. Your need to be of service brings a deep meaning and grounding foundation for your Taurus’s earthiness. You are attracted to partnerships that challenge you, that feel expansive and hopeful, grounded in shared spiritual ideals and a fierce dedication. Your energy feeds off illiberalism or some sense of mutual discovery.

Jupiter in Virgo

So when the grounded, patient Taurus sun meets luck and expansion in the detailed and service-oriented domain of Jupiter in Virgo, your native sign of expansion takes on intellectual courage (and practical pragmatism). The you that is pacing forward in the world of energy to which you give so little heed wants practical improvements, a logical way to move forward without chaos and confusion.
The result is a magnetic, lovely pull. Your Taurus sun is in the business of accruing security and comfort. But with your Jupiter in Virgo, you’re drawn towards a place of deep passion, transformative aspirations and an unyielding search for the absolute bottom line. This means that you not only enjoy the depths of connection but express your energy to others in a way which is entirely dependable, protective and faithful.
What's really strong with this combination is your absolute faith in your instincts - and  to make things happen through a silent but steady power. Your Taurus’s earthly solidity has a purpose and a passionate ground with your Virgo drive. You are attracted to relationships that feel wide-open and optimistic, based on shared spiritual values and a burning dedication. Your energy is fired by the "Bon-fire" of mutual respect and never ending exploration.

Saturn in Aquarius

While your grounded and patient Taurus sun learns its great life lesson in the intellectual, humanitarian realm of Saturn in Aquarius, your natural desire for stability is given a sense of universal purpose and a deep-seated need to fix the world. Your outer self seeks comfort and security in all things, but your inner motivation is a powerful desire for intellectual order, social justice, and a cool and detached sense of problem-solving. There is a beautiful, fascinating pull there. Your Taurus wants to build a secure life. Your Saturn in Aquarius pulls you to a world of tangible perfection, practical goals, and a drive to get to the very heart of everything. It allows you to experience the sensual depth of human connection and express your energy in a way that is wildly reliable, protective, and devoted. The real power of that ease and grace you reach lies in your ability to act on your instincts. With your Taurus’s drive, your Aquarius gives its power a profound sense of purpose and a fiery foundation. You are drawn to partnerships that feel expansive, hopeful, and built on a spiritual ideal and a fierce devotion. Your energy thrives in a place where respect is mutual in the world of themselves, and individual discovery is constant.

Uranus in Aries

A Sun in Taurus with a Uranus in Aries is similar to an experienced farmer who has had to transform themselves into a revolutionary visionary. At heart, you want to create a stable, reliable life that feels good and has substance. But the great lesson of your life, as delivered by Uranus, is that you will bring balance, structure and deep transformation to your relationships. This combination produces an interesting form of push/pull; also, a push and pull between your practical, grounded nature and the deep longing for objective looking.
Your Taurus sun seeks to be a solid and dependable provider, steadfast and true in partnership who feels at home within the realm of routine. But your Uranus in Aries is here to show you that real security happens when people confront the unspoken truths in their relationships. It makes you stand up for what’s right even when it feels uncomfortable and sets clear boundaries so you can give to others without sacrificing yourself. The struggle is how to be a bold builder and tough justice advocate at the same time.
The real magic of this placement is that it turns your uncensored pragmatism into organized, noticeable aid. You might be a silent hero, that powerful voice that brings peace to your community and beyond. Your job is to leverage your superb tenacity, in order to create relationships and communities of respect and great trust. You have an uncommon sensitivity for traversing the terrain of complicated emotions with resoluteness in good faith.
Your key to a fulfilled existence rests in the art of the equitable partnership. Your legacy will be the evidence that you were able to marry a raw pragmatism with a dogged justice and demonstrate real power is more about not what you have but the balanced and beautiful ties you cultivate.

Neptune in Virgo

With a Sun in Taurus, you have a rather solid/practical approach to life that is steady and very sensual by nature, but the combination of your Taurus sun with Neptune in Virgo creates a push/pull between real-world rationality and utopian thinking. Taurus seeks stability, ease and pleasure of the flesh and does well with predictable routines, predictable rewards — the world of matter. This power loves safe and slow, instead of wild leaps. But with Neptune in Virgo, it adds even more nuance to the mix: It makes all that pragmatic utility of Virgo a little bit dreamier, a little more imaginative and a little keener on connecting to something beyond material concerns.
The task for someone with this combination is to bridge the tactile, grounded nature of Taurus with Neptune’s visionary, sometimes otherworldly energy. Taurus wants dependability, and Neptune (dissolve) in Virgo seeks perfection striving for spiritual insight and service. This can make for a person who is absolutely dedicated, with zeal of helping others often in details but driven by an inner sense what’s needed. Creativity can thrive here, particularly if it’s manifested in useful, meaningful ways — making dreams real by building projects that actually exist; creating beauty in the daily stuff of life or healing through hands-on work.
On a psychological level, Taurus Sun with Neptune in Virgo can create hidden and subtle feelings beneath that phlegmatic exterior. These people may often feel the subtle energies of their environment and be drawn to a mystical or artistic path. Their path is one of the meeting ground between the steady, grounded presence of Taurus and the ethereal, fanciful flow of Neptune — learning what’s practical to dream toward, knowing when to dream tenderly and nuanced in action, finding beauty in combining pragmatism with spirituality.

Pluto in Cancer

Pluto in Cancer is stirring up your 3rd house of communication, learning, siblings and the neighborhood. For you, this is a profound mental reset. Your words, your ideas and your day-to-day exchanges are about to have a potency they have not previously possessed.
Initially, you might find that conversations seem to carry extra gravity. Small talk becomes pensive conversation, and you will probably develop a taste for reality instead of casual exchange. People may even feel a new magnetism in they way you speak or write — your voice has power. It is a time when your thoughts can change not just your own view, but also the views of others near you.
Relationships with siblings, neighbors or your community could also change. Old patterns could emerge, power dynamics might need to be addressed and new relationships may develop that seem karmic. Weather report Pluto here hopes you can scrub the shallow and invest in significance.
It is also a time for learning — not mere surface details, but deep, penetrating knowledge. You are your own best motivator and, through writing, teaching or study in some form, you’re being forced to sharpen your mind and use it as the tool of empowerment that it is.
By the end of this transit, Taurus, your voice will be downright commanding. You will learn how to talk with power, think with focus, and relate in ways that lead you to genuine change.

The sign of Taurus gives people who were born under it calm and patient nature, and a sense of appreciation for beautiful and pleasant things in life. People born under the sign of Taurus are often quite introverted and they like to keep their distance, even from their best friends. However, the reason for this is not their arrogance, but their inability to talk their problems over with somebody.

It is not possible to say that they are against anything modern, but they insist on high quality materials, perfect design and especially on values. This includes also the fact that these people need the feeling of security for their happiness and they use everything to help them feel this way. They know the value of things and property and they put great effort into obtaining them, because they also want their children to enjoy this security. If these people seem selfish, it's a mistaken idea because they themselves are very modest, but they are driven by the idea that their family has to get the best. Emotional and family support are also important to them, they take good care of their children and they are attentive to older family members without the feeling that they are making sacrifices .

At work these people are very accurate and reliable. Because they know what their duties are, they do not let laziness, their other characteristic, to take over. People born under the sign of Taurus do not insist that they have to do sports. They might take a hike at which end there will be a rare artistic monument, which is not accessible any other way. They can concentrate on the work in order not to unnecessarily waste time that they need for something they consider necessary for themselves: reading a book, see an exhibition or a going for a walk in the park. But they are not just dreamers. They know the value of money and they can use it practically and prudently.

Your inborn disposition to educate and protect allows you to be a good parent and a supportive friend. You may be prone to emotional fluctuations; you should learn to forgive and forget in order to avoid depression from thinking too much about things. Your perception of the world can be very subjective; try to create a certain distance without being bitter. Due to your rich emotional manifestation you can create a real sense of belonging in the world.

Ascendant in Capricorn 22°07’

Ascendant (Rising Sign)

People with Capricorn Ascendant must first become aware of their two opposing sides. One is obedience and performing their duties properly. They need to manage energy well and this requires discipline and self-control. They must achieve some social prestige and recognition. The other side is the ability to organize practical matters and achieve their goals, and also the ability to enjoy sensual pleasures.

Cancer Descendant - Partners & Compatibility
If you have a Capricorn Ascendant, your Cancer Descendant will awaken your gentleness, sensitivity and need to look after and protect. You should appreciate a partner who tries to help you get out of your thick skin with his childish naivety. You need his care, so do not be afraid to reveal the small child who is still hiding in you. Release your emotions, because if you do not do that, the dam that holds them will one day burst open.

Maybe you need to find out that you are comfortable in a traditional family setting, in which everybody knows their respective roles, responsibilities and boundaries.
